The first can opener would be so good for those who don't the dexterity for normal ones. Plus less electronics = less waste and malfunctions. I love it!
Personally i would take the second one, since it can last about a year or more without changing the battery since you only use it for a short time It's just so convenient & hassle free
Fun fact: Mjölnir is actually just really heavy; the worthiness thing is completely just marvel taking creative liberties with pre existing things. It's so heavy that Þór requires special gloves to lift it and he's already super strong. So imagine getting hit with that. You're not just getting bonked, you're getting *bonked*
And that's a good thing! Most people believe if you don't constantly change things people will lose interest. This is actually reverse for me, constantly changing things will make me avoid it.
Maybe it could be a prank you sound it works name is somebody trying to open it from the back then when they touch it it falls down and then it goes on them
Lol, I lost it when he put the beans in the bean can. Everything else about the video is so straightforward, I was not expecting a weird joke being played completely straight.
You truly are a legend actually showing off gadgets and hacks that work it’s crazy man there’s like troom troom and 5 minute life hacks that don’t work and are totally clickbait but you you don’t do that it’s just amazing great work man
I liked all these devices, the mini mjolnir was pimp. The red ratchet can opener was very cool! It was also very interesting with the push down bottle opener that had the magnet- nice! Even tho this comment is 7 months later ill keep these in mind when im looking around for nifty household stuff!
The back spin on the electric can opener does have a purpose. It helps release the can and lid. I have one that does the same kind of cut, but it isn’t electric, it has a handle on the side that you crank. One time I did a back spin (I don’t know why, I may have been spacing out), and it easily released the can and lid. It was sometimes a pain to get it to release the lid, but not anymore.
When I was a kid, my parents were given an electronic can opener. It got a bit ridiculous though, because I was the only one it would work for. Everyone else got really annoyed with it and I would just walk up, put the can there and it would start opening it. 😂
QVC still sells the ratchet can opener. I've had mine for more than 4 years, and I love it. The second can opener in the video is what I had previously, and while it was great at first, it didn't hold up. It lasted less than a year.
Love your reviews. I wish I could find a reliable can opener that would actually work like what you demoed. I finally switched back to the old fashioned type. I’ve never had problems with the pop top type.
Mom bought one of those electric can openers. She had weak hands and that little thing saved her time and it works for a good few years before it needed to be replaced.
The first two gadgets, I HAD the electric version (second one) and I don't do canned goods too often but usually the electric version WON'T open cans by the time I replace the batteries by the third time. I think I figured out it's flaw. The cutting edge that actually does the cutting is extremely small and designed to only go so deep and after a 100 cans or so simply wears down so much it can't safely open cans anymore. Cutting 3/4th of the way through doesn't cut it or open those cans anymore. So they are nice, easy and clean but don't expect them to work much past a year though. I hate saying that because I really do like them but realistically? They are NOT going to last long. I've bought two of them and the second one died just as fast. The design flaw is the cutting edge? It's just that small and very little wear and tear will make it useless all too soon.
I wonder, ave you reviewed cork screws? I have arthritic thumbs and struggle with opening wine bottles. On that note, I bought myself a hands-free can opener like the one you reviewed in this video, and it is a godsend! I wouldn’t be without it now
4:26 if you look at that metal piece inside, it goes in then out again to go under the bottle cap then when you pull it out that metal piece pulls the cap off. On its way out, theres a magnet to pick up the cap.
I bought a can opener similar to the one at 2:27. It opened one can. But there's probably variation in brands, but I didn't want to waste any more time. I returned it and bought a new wall-mount SwingAway. My old one had lasted 40 years.
Oh wow that can opener one is super handy, sucks that it is discontinued. I want to think that not many people understand how to use it properly, but if they did they would be off the shelves in seconds.
Oh, the first one has a FULL BRIDGE RECTIFIER!!!! cool. Also what if the Mjöllnir can opener really WAS metal, and you put an electromagnet under the table? Then, you can turn on the electromagnet to prevent people from having too many drinks, haha! It'd also make for a fun prank. We NEED Mark Rober to do that!
have you ever tried the Black and Decker Gizmo can opener? it's a wireless opener that runs around the can by itself. Gizmo recharges on an under-the-counter base.
I like these can openers for everything but canned tuna. For that, I need the sharp lid method so I can press the cut lid in to drain the tuna thoroughly.
Second bottle opener is designed for bottle caps collections. It doesn't bend the edges while opens the bottle. Maybe someone find it useful to increase bottle cap collection for Follout preparing))
I LOL'ed at you putting the beans in the bean can safe! If you open the can from the bottom with one of the can openers that lets you replace the lid on the can, you could use that as a "safe" to hide in the cupboard.
