- Real arcade hardware recorded using the Elgato Camlink 4K and the OSSC. Upscaled to 4K 60FPS
This is not emulated using MAME or from the Tekken 5 (PlayStation 2) Arcade History collection. I’m using real arcade hardware. Full gameplay of Heihachi Mishima. One of my favorite games of all time! I did edit out the losses so the video wouldn’t be too long. I forgot to mention that I did do an audio mod on all my Namco system 11 pcbs so I won’t have to use a line level converter. I will make a post about this mod soon. Makes it much easier to record high quality audio without the use of the JAMMA and JAMMA + 48 pin audio which can kill the OSSC and cheap audio sound cards.

Game:Tekken 2 Ver.B (1995)
Arcade System: Namco System 11
Back then, Tekken is the only fighting game that switched the main character and final boss’ roles in a sequel.
Nice with the real arcade hardware bro!
Thank you dude! More videos will be coming soon! :)
Interesting, Devil's voice in the arcade version was the same as Kazuya's, no effects. I forgot about that.
Yeah, they only added the effect in the console version.
Just realized that the announcer is the same one from Tekken 1
Stage 7 vs his son's wife, stage 8 vs adopted son, stage 9 vs real son, stage 10 vs his son evil form
Years ago, I saw Tekken 2 arcade machines when after you beat the first CPU character, you can fight against few secret characters once unlocked. But actually, when I see a Tekken 2 gameplay of Arcade version till the end, only normal characters appears even the secret characters are avaliable to play. There are a motif for this?
There’s a couple of revisions for almost every tekken arcade game. Tekken 2 had two major versions, Version A, which is the one you most likely mentioned and the one I got and the most common pcb out there, Version B, which has everything unlocked by default. After a certain time frame or so, Namco releases a version that has everything that would be “time released or unlockables” unlocked by default. Namco did stop this stuff I believe with either Tekken 5DR or Tekken 6 but has since then returned for Tekken 7 as DLC, which is a thing.
@@FIGHTERSCHOICEArcade I understand. In my childhood, Tekken 2 is the game who I most played in Arcades. And I remember few incredible moments on those times in 90's. One of those is a Perfect in Round 3 an CPU done against me in stage 5, using Wang on my Angel. This made me furious, losing a credit with a repentinuous Perfect 😒🤭
Arcade hardware looks a lot better than on mame texture wise u know?
Isn't there a Tekken 2 Ver.A? If so, can you make a video out of it?
Yeah but I don’t have it or have any interest in getting that version
@@FIGHTERSCHOICEArcade what was the difference between Ver. A and Ver. B?
@@jitroglennwcmandagi ver a was the first and was pretty glitched
I have ps2 tekken 5 and there is arcade history tekken 1,2,3 but I didnt like it , real arcade hardware is the best , no matter it is an arcade perfect emulation , you can never duplicate a real arcade jamma board
