Currently working on my ‘77 CB750A. Making a b.rat bike for now. But I’ve always wanted to build a hard tail chopper. Built, not bought, never finished. Nice build!
Hi Jon, since you aren't using the front brake---please sell it to me-I am in s.Florida and have a 750 with a girder front end and an Amen Savior frame. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks and love your scooter!
You can still put the front disc brake on the bike without a brake lever on handlebars ,you can run front & rear brakes from the foot brake pedal because I've done it ,my 70 shovel Superglide custom has a single brake pedal that applys 70% rear and 30% front from applying pressure just on the rear brake pedal ,a single res and a booster mounted on the lower frame is all you need, it cost me around $700 to mod my chopper that way.
This is probably the best Hondamatic chopper I've ever seen. Actually, the only one, but it's killer. I wish he would have talked about the intake a little. I'm guessing the extension between the carb and the velocity stacks was a compromise to work with the CV carbs?
So you are in Tampa ? Mo is awesome!! I love the bike. Do you still have it and ride it? Can Nate make another adapter my friend? Or is thee a place to get those adapters?
@@deadlyq6840 Great, Hopefully when this is all over we can get together. Ok, maybe just when we get our projects done in a month or a few weeks. I still have to run a simple wiring harness or buy one.I am in Pennsylvania and I do not check facebook that much but I can if I know you are going to friend me. I am tthe jimmy popp in Parkerford Pennsylvania. where are you from? we are planning on a trip from PA to Florida and then to California then down to Baja. Love to have you with us.
THE FIRST ONE YOU BUILT HAS CAUGHT MY EYE. I NOW WISH I WENT THIS ROUTE INSTEAD OF BUYING MY SON A 2016 NINJA 300. I THINK THE FIRST ONE YOU DID HAS THAT COLE TANK? I WOULD LOVE TO DO ONE JUST THE SAME WAY WITH COLORS MY SON WOULD LIKE FOR THE TANK. IM GOING TO SELL THE NINJA SO SOME OF THAT MONEY WILL GO TOWARDS THIS PROJECT. I WANT THAT BOXER FRAME FROM CYCLE X. THEY MIGHT KNOW WERE I CAN FIND A HONDAMATIC 750 FOR ME TOO, OR DO YOU HAVE ANY CONNECTIONS? YOUR RESPONCE WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
So you learn how to counter steer instead of leaning deep into a turn ,ride a low rider bobber & you'll expand your riding skills 1,000 % ,counter steering is something very few riders who consider themselves experienced can do properly .
killer Honda I always like to say no just Harleys are kool a Honda with good faith will turn in a turn heads all day long .. congrats not everybody invest time and money in a hondamatic .. I wish was mine .. :)

looks awesome 👌
Love the geometry of the frame, do you have the blueprint? Would like to copy it!
Totally cool!!
Very cool! I dunno beans about Hondamatics, what's the deal with the two shift levers?
one was hooked to the kickstand to keep it in neutral. No kickstand on that side so I put on another lever
you could also run a small drum in the front and a twist grip to use it? would still be a clean setup
No need.............just plan ahead a little

Really great bike, nice work! How does the acceleration of the automatic compare to a standard set up?

Is the kickstand on the wrong side or did the film get flipped?

You probably won't find another bike that rides THAT well and is also THAT dangerous.

nope.
