That personal pan looked like crap. It's sloppy, and it's supposed to have 12 pepperoni (that was on the chart when I worked at one). I think a lot of Pizza Huts make bad personal pans - one in our area used to put only 4 pepperoni when it was for a kid. It probably has breadstick sauce on it too (pizza sauce is spicier and a different consistency).
Is everyone knows it, why haven't they fixed it? That's an L from Pizza Hut, you shouldn't need insider knowledge to order the "right pizza" that tastes good.
You can easily say this but Pizza Hut have shut down a lot of their restaurants and usually the closest one could be Pizza Hut Express. Not sure which Pizza Hut they ordered it from but it looks more like Pizza Hut Express, which only provides reheated personal pan.

It is worth noting though that depending on where in the country you get pizza it does affect the taste. Cause local water will effect the flavor with the different properties of the water.

This is the real reason why north eastern US pizza is so good. The water quality and elevation makes a huge difference.
A lot goes into changing the flavor. Are the employees high? Are they teenagers? Both? Either way, that pizza will be full of toppings.
Costco pizza is legit and pretty consistent. As a bonus, Costco actually treats its employees well (it's routinely top or near top in rankings for employee happiness and other similar ratings).
Fun fact: Pizza as we think of it, even in Italy, is completely different from what it was before Italians immigrated to America. A lot of ingredients that are common for the creation now where too expensive before then, and most of them still were over in Italy and only cheap enough for mass use in America.

Missed opportunity to run a leftover pizza tier list the next day.
I feel like the Pizza Hut one was unfairly rated, cause they got the mini pan pizza, which I don't think they're that great. Their regular sized pan pizzas are great though. Idk what it is but their crusts taste great, I always look forward to eating the crust after eating the pizza.

From my experience, both Italy and America tend to be all over the fucking place when it comes to pizza quality; so much so I can’t objectively say one does pizza better. Some of the most rancid fucking garbage pizza I had was in Italy, but conversely so was some of the best.
