Okay, but Simon's mythological reference to a perpetual soup that Farm World Finn is brewing? That's some masterpiece level crumb trail. They say that it's the same soup their mother was cooking the day she died and they just keep adding stuff to it. It's something called perpetual stew, present in many different cultures and still practiced today. Water and other ingredients are added as needed and the pot keeps simmering endlessly. It is also known as HUNTER'S stew. It's such a clever way to reveal the mother of Finn's kids, I loved it.

I saw it more as a commentary to the franchise itself. As adventure time has ended but there are still spinoffs/ mini series being created to add to it the over arching story and franchise.
I didn’t interpret it this way he added bubble gum to the stew I think that’s a clue that the mother of his children was farm world princess bubblegum. None of the other kids have those eyes except that one and we didn’t even learn his name but we know he has a child named Bonnie which is named after pb.

I was disappointed Finn and Simon didn’t have an emotional talk about their shared experience at being corrupted by the crown then have Simon saying he needs it back as his only option with Farm Finn criticizing his sanity at being willing to sacrifice himself back to the crown.
We need that if FW Finn comes back

neither simon or fionna knew that farmworld finn was corrupted by the crown, and since he doesnt want to talk about it, it wouldnt have made sense for them to share their experiences

27:30 he is most likely alive. If you remember the reason the humans wear those hats is to be resistant to vampires so they usually are pretty sturdy. Though I don't know if vampires existed in this version of ooo due to the mushroom bomb not going off but maybe it still protected against other things

I doubt that the flashback scene is the freezing of Finn's parents. They know who the Snowman is, its their very son. They wouldn't just say "The Snowman" like an urban myth type way, they'd say "Finn."

Just as Simon and the Ice King are frequently mentioned and treated as two different people, I would bet that The Snowman and Finn are considered in the same light -- with the former being corrupted and treated as not the same person with the latter

the only time i dont remember him being jacked is this one comic i read where he was a teacher on founders island, but he was also a brunette so that was really weird. but yeah, i think it is inevitable
its ironic that farmworld finn's weapon of choice is a flamethrower the exact opposite of the whole snowman / ice finn
It’s also probably easier to engineer/manufacture heat/fire over cryogenic weapons with the limited resources everyone has.
Someone pointed out that the two children (one with glasses and one with a bandage) Farm world Finn has are possibly references to Neptr and Stormo who are both referred to as Finn’s “children” in the original show. And it makes sense as the glasses on one kid look a lot like Neptr’s eyes and the bandage on the forehead is placed instead of the third eye Stormo originally had + the hairstyle.
That's one of my absolute favorite minor details in this show, using Finn's "children" from the previous series
I like the artist joke where when a person constantly wearing sun glasses loses them it's revealed that they have beautiful and/or highly detailed eyes
The animal hats are made to withstand piercing wounds from vampire teeth, I'm sure Finn's was able to stop or lessen the blades of the Scarab as well. Also heads bleed a LOT when they get damaged, and there's no blood in the scene. I think farmworld Finn is gonna be alright.

Bro this show is so fucking good it makes me so happy it hasn’t let me down yet and tbh I don’t think it will. It has been perfect from beginning to end and honestly I don’t want it to end, but at the same time I’m so exited to see how it’s going to develop.
Now we're getting into the good stuff with Destiny and Winter King.
In a past episode they showed us blood when Simon was attack by a bear in the woods. The show made it clear when something is fatal they bleed. Seeing no blood come out from farm world Finns head or hat makes me believe he was just knocked out
I'm interested on how exactly Simon is going to account for the Ice King part of his plan, think about it here, his plan is entirely resting on the fact the crown will give him the ability to fight off the Scarab...how exactly is he going to remember that he needs to do that? Also how is he going to send Fiona and Cake home? Ice King is a powerful magic user but he's not a celestial being, the Scarab is, and also there's the bigger issue, how is he going to remember what he needs to do? Simon is aware of the plan but will the Ice King know about it? Will he remember? I thought part of the whole curse of the crown was the fact the person who wears it forgets basically everything from before they put it on except really minor details, from their entire multiple years long relationship all that Ice King could remember about Betty was the association with the word Princess, he had no idea who Marcy was except he liked being around her and felt a need to find her, and the only thing he remembered about himself was he used to wear glasses (my man didn't even know his real name was Simon), I'm 90% sure that our Simon is going to become the Ice Prince that Fiona dreamt of (hopefully without the romance because Simon is over a thousand years old and feels much more like a father figure to Fiona), balancing the power with the brains and all that

Like some of the other comments pointed out. The crown slowly takes over the wearer. Not instantly... Further more we have to remember that at this point Simon is over a millennium old... So he has vast knoledge both magical and scientific. The experience is very much there. Lets not forget what the crown really is... Its not just some little magical artifact that gives you ice powers. Its actually a God Level Weapon that grants any wish you want. Possibly the most dangerous magical artifact ever created. If one has the mental capacity to resist its effects you can do what ever you want with it. Even merge with Golb who very much is above everything including Prismo or The Scarab and all of the monsters before time. So yeah the crown is... Very very powerful and could very well be the key and solution to pretty much any problem of this magnitude.
Well we saw Winter King could stop the Scarab.. up until Fiona dispelled the crown causing him to lose his magic. The crown gives the user the powers of the Ice Elemental which is pretty powerful magic.

Prismo wasn’t scared of Scarab, he was scared of the consequences for defying Scarab. Pretty much, he could easily defeat Scarab, but would then necessarily be defeated by his boss for disobedience.

I remember seeing a Twitter thread about this last week or so.
I don’t remember all of the evidence, but one I specifically remember is the little gingerbread guy than Gary makes.
When he drops it on the floor, the only thing that breaks apart is Fionna’s LEG (it’s also on the same side as Finns robot arm)
Also in the messed up winter king world, we see the same gingerbread guy with both of his legs cut off

I believed that Farm world Finn survived. Our Finn from the main universe has the exact same hat and we know those hats were designed to protect from vampires. Knowing this if farm world Finn’s hat was made the same or similarly it should’ve protected him from the stab. Plus we also didn’t see any blood come out despite the show having a higher rating.

This episode really does give hope for our finn to have a family with fp or hw than the the pillow episode because i think the pillow world is some sort of dream while farmworld i think is an actual universe/timeline. There finally hope that finn did not get done so dirty and left to suffer alone and just wait to see jake the whole time.
I think they made the traveling couple to look like Finn’s family on purpose to initially throw us off. But when they told the baby to “be quiet or the snowman will come”-Finn has obviously been terrorizing Farmworld long enough that he created a reputation for himself. Plus Finn didn’t age because he was wearing the crown.
Honestly i was always fascinated with Farm World, its story, aesthetic and motives, of low magic apocalypse instead of high one like Ooo, the idea of world that is like ours but had magic and people know it is so cool because for sure there are people seeking magic of any kind knowing some of it existed, but because this world did not have so much magic like Ooo has because of its events it just gives me overflow of ideas and concepts. Realy they couldnt make better alternate universe if im honest, such a mood
I'm assuming the candy kingdom drawing was done by Bonnie, as in Bonnibel Bubblegum, which is another name connection you didn't mention, I forgot about the fact his pillow world kids were jay and bonnie as well though. I assume back then Bonnie was also a PB reference and perhaps Jay being like J for Jake?

23:54 I wouldn't say they are accidentally removing Magic from things they touch. A sharp knife is just a sharp knife. That energy that covers the objects/people so far is Cosmic, like Prismo's powers. This is beyond magic sapping, it's formatting things to match their Universe's continuity, magicless dull and simple. What I would say is happening is that they are changing things from their Cosmic Meta Continuity. My theory is that because their universe is detached from the rest of the Multiverse, their CMC is unstable and clashing and rewriting with objects, making them passively dangerous cosmic entities. If their universe is connected to the rest of the multiverse, it could stabilize their CMC. Idk if Simon gaining the crown's magic would fix that though because of the continued disconnect. Could be the same CMC overwrite but one that mimics their magical universe (like turning normal food into magical food people).This is beyond magic sapping, it's formatting things to match their Universe's continuity, magicless dull and simple.
Would that work against the scrab or whatever foe they gonna face

i hope youre right but i don't think vampires were a widely known threat back then, no other humans in farmworld wear those hats. i think it's the simple fact that they couldn't not give finn his bear hat, it's not a vampire thing - also, those were brutal fucking spikes - not a pair of teeth. so idk. hope you're right though
I'm calling it now, Fionna and Cake have the powert of digesting things to basic forms like Golb stomach. That somehow was absorbed by they universe when Simon was reverted in the finale

I’ve seen somewhere that two of Farm Finn’s kids (the one with the glasses and the one with the headband) could be Farmworld Neptr and Stormo (the sphinx that PB made from Finn’s hair) you can see that with the kid in the headband while of course he doesn’t have one it looks he’s covering a third eye, something Stormo does have.

The pillow people from Cake the Cat I think confirms that a portal was opened and all of Finn's canonical kids from the main verse is reflected in Farmworld, Jay and Bonnie were his two kids from Puhoy, glasses son is Neptr(which he refers to as his shared son with Ice King), headband and freckles kid is 100% Stormo(which he also refers to as technically his and PB's son), and im guessing the redhead kid that looks like Hunter from Fionna and cake's world is gonna be revealed as his kid with Huntress Wizard later on. So Finn in the mainverse land of Ooo has 5 kids around as well.
Could it be that Finn losing his arm is considered as a “CANNON EVENT”?

What if the ending is Simon wearing the crown with only one gem? Would it work? Probably not, but I don't think we've seen the crown not working with the middle gem only.

Now, people has been pointing out how there were no blood shown when Farm!Finn was hit and takes that as a sign that he might’ve survived.
Also, that’s an interesting prediction, it certainly would make things go full circle with Fionna being a Finn variant, I guess we’ll see if that will go anywhere.
I could be wrong but I think that Big Destiny's eyes are a callback to Finn and his beautiful hair, which he also kept hidden almost all the time. Maybe even a metaphor about men hiding away their most admirable qualities to seem tough in a harsh environment, but that doesn't seem to be explored at all so probably not. Either way I liked that touch for a character that isn't explored much

The two blonde kids were stormo and neptr for anyone wondering! They are technically Finn’s two kids from they main series since he created them both, it’s nice to see they got to be human in this universe. And the red head kid is huntress wizards. 17:12

The scariest part about her transforming the knife is that the knife isn’t magic. Farm world is specifically a non magically world and that knife was a run of the mill survivalist tool so they aren’t just stripping magic from the worlds they go too they are converting them to be like Fiona’s current world. A monkey paw like effect, like what happen to OG Gunther.
Gunther wished to be like Evergreen but the with his limited understanding the crowd mostly overroad him with a caricature same with each person including Ice King. The crowns influence writes over whats there, and Betty’s wish was to keep Simon safe, every thing Simon goes through effects Fiona’s world (like them being in the Winter Kingdom and it’s suddenly snowing in Fiona’s world, they’ve only been gonna a few days and kids were eating ice cream in a green park….how is it snowing) so they at the very core of this they are still dealing with the crowns magic but also a wild intersection with Prismo AND Golb powers.
Prismo created an entire universe, hid in a magical mind created as a consequence of Evergreen’s magic that got stripped down as Golb digested it and before it could be complete destroyed a rest Ice Crown was used to keep it safe “how every it had to happen”…now out of a pocket dimension Cake is turning hotdog soldiers with spears into regular hot dogs, Fiona turned a weapon into a butter knife, and a version of Simon that projected his madness onto PB and made and unethical ice Marcie got stripped of all his magic and died. 🤔 did mean to type for this long
I'm more on the fact it's swapping objects and instances. Remember each glitch we see are similar to when Prismo moves something with his powers. It's not necessarily deleting magic but swapping things that don't belong.

I think the sword arm bunny could potentially allude to Fionna figuring out her normalcy power/curse and even how to reverse it. Perhaps managing to turn her arm into a sword using the fact that she is a Finn to draw on the normal fate of every Finn in the multiverse and giving herself a weaponizable artificial arm and a blade she knows she's not going to lose, given her track record with weapons so far.

His slight redesign suggests he isn’t immortal, just that his body was reset back to how it was before he put on the crown

i REALLY hope farmworld finn isn't dead
For farmworld Finn’s other two kids: The one with goggles kinda looks like Neptr, and the one with the headband might be a reference to Stormo since the band is covering where Stormo’s third eye is. Neptr and Stormo are both technically* Finn’s children… in a way.
I really like this episode because we got to see Farmworld Finn again since "crossover", now fully grown with 5 children. Notice small details in this episode and I love this episode in a post-apocalyptic reference to my favorite franchise; "Mad Max", WHAT A LOVELY EPISODE!!!
"0:29" At the beginning of the Episode we see a small family traveling in a "carriage like Pickup Truck", trying to quietly sneak from Ice Finn but got caught and freeze. "4:05" Later when Simon, Fionna and Cake were walking and as Fionna is taking off shirt we seen again the same Pickup Truck abandoned and stripped.
"23:23" That Bayonet Knife that Fionna took from, wasn't the only one that turned into a useless item. When Fionna was road looting, she took the knife and a purses in that "Mad Max looking car" that the tree grew out of it. Letter in the episode, when Scarab was walking the same path that Simon, Fionna and Cake went through, the same Mad Max looking car that the tree grew out of it became a ordinary vehicle. Either 2 things: 1, Fionna must have touch the car while reaching the purse, letter causing to glitch out become a non-violence ordinary vehicle, or 2, the one of animation crew who did this episode made a animation error.
"13:20" As we see Simon, Fionna and Cake running to an alley in a bird's eye view. I noticed a big strange crack on the the road. It's indeed "strange" because I feel like I seen the oddly shape crack on the road. It looks more like a figure, but I don't know what it is?

i totally missed the knife detail. i definitely see the connection to the hotdog and i think we also see it in the next episode. it really does seem like a major plot feature that will build up to something big. it reminds me of the glitch stuff from wreck it ralph.

im supprised how you didnt mention anything more about Bonnie, i always thought that Bonnie was a refrence to Princess Bubblegum's name and the drawing of the candy kingdom in the Farmworld might have been drawn by Bonnie.
Jay and Bonnie are also what he named his children in the pillow world in the episode puhoy. So I think finn just likes to his kids Jay and Bonnie

I think all the things to do with Jake and his shapeshifting powers imply that in order to stay alive, he would have to eat his kids, something we know Jake would never do. This could be why he isn't alive in Ooo but is in Farmworld.
Oh also Finn's two kids are clearly named after Finn's two best friends, Jake and PB.

I dont think Farm Finn died. If he did blood would definitely gush out from his head. Just like in the start of the series where Finn stabbed a monster to death and blood sprayed out.
just a theory for the candy kingdom doodles, but my guess is bonnie made them. gary is fionnas worlds candy elemental and he showed he has knowledge of the candy kingdom despite his non magic world through his cookies in the next episode especially when he recounts the sleepover and resulting zombie outbreak to marshal, and patience and her era of elementals showed that they have knowledge of magic that others don’t. my guess is that farm world finn named her that by “coincidence” since he doesn’t know bonnibel bubblegum in that universe but she subsequently fulfilled ooo’s princess bubblegums same role as candy elemental, and since finn would be that worlds current ice elemental him being the crown bearer maybe part of being elemental or magic are hereditary now. although magic now exists in their world as jay said they don’t talk about it so it must be pretty rare and it’s safe to assume magic isn’t as wacky as it is in prime world and that farm worlds magic is much more dialed back. i think the response of “imma eat that cat” to get cakes power is proof of this, as that’s a very simplified way to look at magic. so finn’s daughter bonnie is the candy elemental and gets visions ofher kingdom as did gary and winter king and winter kings worlds bonnie, i assume it’s safe to assume all elementals get visions of their kingdom and the life their supposed to lead when they’re not filling that role to push them towards their destiny.
even prime worlds princess bubblegum started making the candy kingdom and it’s citizens very young. almost her first action after becoming sentient is creating a royal family to keep her company and sit over her soon to be kingdom and she’s like still a tiny ass kid

I think that Jake must have died somewhere around Finn’s mid 20’s. I would also note that mid 20’s Finn in Prismo the Wishmaker already has a jake tattoo. So the tattoo doesn’t really indicate when he died most likely Finn lost a bet to Jake 😂

They wouldn't make their parents have completely different designs and not recognize him (even tho they know who he is cause they've seen him transformed) if they were supposed to be his parents. I think it's more impactful if these are random people. specially cause it's not just "a different artstyle", they look completely irrecognizable

Finn also has five kids with huntress, mirroring Jake having five pups with Lady in OOO. Pretty sure the two kids who seem kinda random are Farmworld versions of the pups in a more direct way. My guess would be TV and Kim Kil Wan, as the two most "normal" pups to mirror. And it's important to note that Finn named his pillow kids in Puhoy after Jake and PB, so Farmworld Finn's daughter Bonnie is prolly the closest Farmworld PB we can get. It's possible that Farmworld Jay could be a double reference to Jake Jr. as well, since Jay is constantly "grifting" his dad by going into town, lying, and maybe even purposefully getting him drunk that one time. Also following in his dad's "family business" by searching for lost magic.

I think the other 2 kids are NEPTR and Stormo. Finn always called NEPTR his son and remember Stormo is that Griffin thing that PB made with Finn's DNA very early on in the show and Finn said Stormo is his son. I think the bandage around the kids head is to show that something is there (the third eye Stormo had)

Theres no way that was his family looks nothing like them and i couldnt see the showrunners being to lazy to take the proper care to maintain continuity with the amount of love and care they very clearly have for adventure time . They very clearly reference super obscure details from the original show and definitely would put in the effort to make sure the characters look familiar
