Thanks Splat for playing our demo!! It put a huge smile on my face when you mentioned how much you liked the dark-steel armor, and the architectural aesthetic of the tombs. I re-watch this playthrough and see all of the positive comments and it gives so much encouragement thank you!!! Toshi Lead Modeler and Designer at Spellcast Studios
1 thing you guys should change in my opinion is weapon groups. Fine Weapon/Light Weapon/Heavy Weapon makes you wonder what Fine Weapon means as that sounds like it is an OK Weapon or Fine Crafted Weapon. I think Small Weapon/1h Weapon/2h Weapon would make much more sense and would be easier for people to decide what they want when creating and leveling up their hero.

Guy in the corner in the shrouded Gorka suit and gas mask:
Will to liveeeeeeehhh.
In a quiet whisper: Ardenfall!
Thanks for showcasing! ^^
*sets intelligence to 4(lowest)* Splat: "The lockpicking is bad in this game, we destroyed like 90% of my lockpicks"
Snappers only give 1 XP and no loot since they are killable at distance with no danger to yourself.
Splat has that Big Barbarian Energy. NO BLOCK, NO DIE, ONLY ATTACK! KILL HARDERER!
Finally a game that scratches my norrowind itch
Though not like amazing with graphics, gameplay seems very original, in depth system is a bonus and lower graphics makes for less lag and smooth combat.
What an awesome continuation of Morrowind-esque, unusual fantasy setting. Diggin' this vid.
This game looks amazing! A little polish on the animations and telegraphing of move sets and hit feedback and it will be a true morrowind-like game.
I genuinely hope this comes to Xbox it would definitely have a home there we need good games like this right now.
Whether or not it does I’d still probably play this on PC even though I don’t really game on PC it just looks that fun.
That's not a dwarf, that's an orc.
When even a dwarf looks like elf, it's a bad sign x)
this is oddly enough giving me valheim feels, bit of delving, bit of combat, most loot set out in the open with more limited use of chests/UI-mess (those tab based Bethesda UIs still give me the cold shudders) and deliberately lo-fi but working it surprisingly well because their art has some style to it. points based stat progression via level-up (my preferred option given how tedious leveling up things in morrowind+ was)
ooh and some honest to goodness projectile dodging, i came in expecting nothing but this has my attention.
"obsidian dwarf", looks like a knife-ear to me.. . . bordering LoTR orc if i'm being generous (corrupted elf)
I dunno why but i love games like these.
Need to buy. Thanks :)
Splattercat, I love your content. Have a great day.
At long last, a game that combine both of my favorite games!
Wish he recorded another 30 seconds to see what the quest reward was. If it's worth doing the quest, or better just to loot/ grind exp
Found both The Haiku and Toshi's Note, hidden stuff.
Morrowind + Kenshi?! You have my attention.
That dwarf looks like a Dunmer
You say Kenshi and Morrowind, I say VERY interested.
I like the artwork.it looks good.
There's a third test: "Can I swim?"!!
You can!
This looks like a fun game but the amount of contradictory things Splat said and did made this video most entertaining lol.
Ears definitely perked up when you said Kenshi and Morrowind.
Half orcs and half elves > dwarves, elves, orcs etc. :P
I think the game engine is Unity, which I believe is the same as For The King, which gives these a similar feel graphically (not game play though).
I'm here really late because I only recently heard about this game but I just want to point out that chest that's hidden under water is 99% likely the hidden stash lmao.
Finally somebody is trying to Morrowind again. I think the word "Ardenfall" caught my attention first... What with Vvardenfell and all. Gonna keep an eye or two or three on this for sure
I feel like the town in the menu screen is called Ayda Noon
Game developers needs a highly configurable fantasy life simulator engine which will procedurally create adventures.
That end boss in that temple though. Ouch. Stealths and pops up and 1 shots.
Kobolds are the best fantasy race.
Great video as always.
This game is really cool. It looks kenshi inspired but the gameplay reminds me of morrowind.
Right at the end there was a sword sticking out of a stone that I really wanted him to check out and it's driving me crazy
Jokes on you Splat, you play elf with tusks here!
Reminds me of old Kings Field. Sounds like it too.
The Morrowind vibes, dude…
Was that a big target button that you could shoot with an arrow at 33:54?
"kenshi and morroww.." download started before you even finished that sentence.
You had me at mixture of Kenshi and Morrowind.
Looks a lot like Raidborn that you played just a few weeks ago.
