its super simple y the game dont got much players you see back in 2016 to 2020 this game had alot of players me included then they said of a massive update that never came to this day the game isnt dead its just that everyone that plays beats it then are now waiting for the new update i bet when the update drops it will shine agin
This is one of the most unique, nostalgic, quirky, strange, mystical, and amazing game I’ve ever played! I almost cry sometimes because I want to relive my first times playing this game…
Literally took the words right out of my mouth. I remember playing this all the way back in 2017 and it was such a buggy mess with horrible lag and weird invisible barriers in towns. I remember grinding for ages and struggling so much to get fire magic and then quit the game and came back like 2 years later and got op. Haven't played the game since 2019 but seeing this is giving me intense nostalgia and appreciation for what the devs made.

I joined ROBLOX probably in late 2009 and the nostalgia is surreal. But the vibe this particular game evoked in me the first time round is something I can never describe.

The fact that the game is indeed not abandoned, and has been in development for so many years, just shows how great the game is.
This had been one of my most favorite games on pc and it was always depressing seeing this game with under 100 players a day. I had searched up this game on youtube hoping to find a video like this, especially sharing release notes on updates. I'm going to make a video discussing this game as well to support its player growth. And also I never knew about that home button either.
Best game on Roblox in my opinion , happy to see people making videos on this true Roblox masterpiece . The sheer amount of content in this game is surprising to some people , not something a casual Roblox player would expect from a game with so little attention . The music , models , animations and just overall vibe of this game makes me want to play it all the time , it was and still is a truly spectacular experience that i will for sure never forget . Thank you Spectrabox and Gorbachelli for making such a great game and thank you dear sir for making this truly wonderful video ! I hope to see more Fantastic Frontier videos on your channel some time soon , keep up the great work !

Honestly the main appeal of this game for me is the exploration aspect. Uncovering strange locations and trinkets. Filling the itempedia and exploring the nightmare definitely takes the top. The art style of this game played a huge role. It is truly unique and I have never seen anything like it in a Roblox game. It's like something you would see in a fairytale. If anything this world reminds me of Alice in Wonderland out of all things. Being lost in a strange world with even stranger creatures inhabiting it. This innocent art style is contrasted by the hidden threat happening in the background. Most notably the merging of the “Otherworld” with the frontier or the prophesied awakening of the giant rat boy by the ratfolks. I kid you not this sounds like some kind of eldritch horror.

As someone who has fully complete the games main story (nightmare) i have to say that this is by far my fav roblox game and one of the beat games I've ever played. It holds a dear place in my childhood and i don't regret a second of it. Whilst enemies may 1 shot you and fish chances be insanely minute, i think it gives it a certain charm. Enemies are less of damage sponges and rather require the player to out menuever them. I love this game and its diverse vast of enemies. O do hope this game returns to its former glory upon the upcoming update. I'm so glad your drawing more attention to it with this amazing video. Thank you :]
Best game on roblox, I have played Fantastic Frontier since around 2017 and I will never like another game as much as I like Fantastic Frontier, It's sad to see this game still has such a small playerbase. Thanks for making a video on it in an attempt to bring more people into it.
the lore behind fantastic frontier is genuinely incredible, I'm glad Spectrabox is still updating the game to this day. The nightmare is incredible, with the traveling man. And even the plant room. glad you made a video on it!

I miss the old lighting and the screaming, when finding something super rare. I was 10 when I first played this game. Then, all the friends we made and all the people we met. All of my friends I made through this game have either graduated and are focusing on more important parts of life or they've quit for good. It makes me a little embarassed why I still play roblox 24/7 haha..

This game was my childhood, loved this game for the way I was able to grind and explore everything in the world. This game deserves way more love then what I currently has!!!!
This was my first souls-like game. I used to play it with my friend. I remember how much we have suffered and it gives a lot of nostalgia. Its sad that this game isnt popular and slowly becoming closed project

Just like Unturned. This should deserve its own Game on Steam. FF is amazing. I find it by watching a guy name Keizohaha who did some tutorials in Pokemon Fighters EX and since pokemon disappeared from Roblox, FF is the only game I enjoy the most. Its only FF for me now.

There are so many other ways to make new players play the game but it would take like 25 minutes to talk about. Like how diffirent classes have such unique playstyles or show players how cool armors look

The rats nightmare, supermarket, and lost were Loki eerie at times those are only a few of my fav locations in this game

Been playing this game for years. Then my pc broke and I had to wait a couple months until it got fixed and since theres no videos about this game and it isnt on mobile I was extremely bored for so Long and I cried when I played the game again after months
i remember my fired loved this game and played all the time and we made fun of him for it but then he forced to to play with him and it was so much fun. I haven't watched the video yet but without him guiding me and helping i don't think i would have ever continued playing, this game sorely needs a "quest line" or something so that people know what do do, or do it like Elden ring and have a path that laid out for you to follow but isn't forced. Also updates never coming sadge
The first time it gets difficult that you have to deafet all mushrooms

i played roblox in 2017 i think and my top 1 favorite game is FANTASTIC FRONTIER and now i have 100+ coins/money and endgame
I am a midgame player and I do alot of planting flowers and i finding rare objects for 4 itempedias.
0:34 Not really, the average Roblox player values regular updates more than content. Not to mention a big portion of the playerbase have done everything and are just playing the waiting game. Perfect formula for a dead game until an update releases.
Honestly i think people just quit at early game as u do not know whst to do and i only progresses to late game by getting help
Prolly the best games out there, i dont really like RPG's but fantastic frontier is something else, been playing this game for maybe 5 years now? Of course taking monthly breaks so lets say 3 years. Recently started out on a new account and honestly im glued to this game like i was the first time i played with a friend. (Which i still talk to)
I am so incredibly saddened by the fact i cannot play it on mobile or console.

Unfortunately the combat is really bland being M1s and R skills without any dodging or blocking, its also really laggy on most servers and some weapons wont even work in that lag (spellbooks) but im sure it will be fixed after the update

both are good games but personally i like ff more as it makes the grind fun while i feel like the grind in vesteria is a lot more boring

@@Kustopia it probably won't, the game already struggles with lag and with new updates to roblox, it got worse. The server size was already downsized to get less lag. On mobile it will only be worse. And let's be honest, this game isn't made with mobile in mind so it would probably take a very long time to implement, paired with recent delays on the new update we can almost be 100% sure mobile will not come.
@@aggold6757 With regards on the ‘struggling with lag’ part, Spectra and Gorba are separating the world into different experiences as a way to reduce lag. As for the mobile part, I’m not a Roblox developer so I wouldn’t know anything about that.
@@Kustopia I also read that post but didn't think about it when writing the comment, so that issue would probably be fixed. It actually sparks some hope for the future!
I'm sorry, if you think that Fantastic Frontier is a bad game, i am going to politely ask you to uninstall roblox, reset your computer, unplug it, and throw it out of the nearest window. Because i will no longer care for your opinion or anything you have to say, because dammit Fantastic Frontier is a masterpiece that outclasses any other game on roblox and it deserves SO much more attention.
