I disagree with Face statement that "If Screw didn't do it, it's not screwed". That statement takes away from DJ Screws Legacy and Legend. He CREATED a DJ style and imitation is the HIGHEST form of admiration.
I feel ya and I thought like this too. And still do to an extent. Same time this his hip hop or rap which is very competitive. Like if an SUC member that really knew and worked with Screw carried the style with the name on cool. But for somebody that u totally don’t know takes ur style and puts ur name on it it’s kinda weird. I think that’s the difference. Watts, Beltway 8 etc had no connection to Screw so that would be kinda disrespectful. In my opinion
