A friend recommended me to an ix20 and all the reviews were lacking in not even showing the rear seat arrangements let alone a full explanation of their flexibility as you have just done. Wonderful sensible practical review ~ wish we had car dealerships like you near us in SE England
@@smidgelette it's good. Went for couple of long drives and spacious enough for my long legs, even the rear seats. You won't regret if the vehicle is on good condition.
This looks to be a great car to consider. I need something with higher seats, but not a huge suv type car. Currently have a 2013 Mazda 2, but need more space, and better access. Could you tell me how it is at getting up to speed /overtaking power, etc. Looking for something with a bit more oomph, not a crazy amount, but more than I have now. Great review BTW.
Thanks for the kind words and thanks for watching, these cars come with a 1.6 engine in some models so if you want more power I would suggest going for the 1.6 petrol! Definitely a very underrated car!
I've got a Hyundai ix20 1.6 petrol automatic, its a nippy car, brilliant in traffic & its very deceiving as they look a small car from the outside but they are very spacious inside!!! & comfortable to drive! I've had my 17 plate for just over 2 years and I've never had any problems with it, great car 🚙🚙🚙
Long term my experience 1.Brake discs need replacing more often than other cars 2.Both front suspension springs broken(maybe quality of manufacture), otherwise been reliable! Engine (petrol) underpowered,as no turbo, fuel consumption poor, noisy engine even at 3000rpm you can't hear radio!

Thats good ! I think you will be happy with it ! Thanks for watching !
I am buying a used car today 😅
How are you getting on with it. I’m looking at one at the moment. 2014, 1.4.

@@coolrockydasable that’s great, I’m glad to hear it. I’ve been worrying that it might be a bit sluggish.
At 2024 we need more cars like this one in EU, the only way to get something like this is buy used.
@@NikolasKarampelas it’s very practical 🙂👍

Thanks for watching!
Can it fit a Senior go kart in it's trunk?😅
If it’s cut down into a million pieces then yes is the answer 💪🙂
Is ix20 reliable on long term?
They actually are 💪🙂
@@doolanbrian thank you
@@phhuynh9881 we sold them to people back in 2012 who still happily own them 🙂🙂
My ix20 is lovely, never had any problems with it,and its great to drive, one of the best cars I've ever had.
@@debsclark3432 I totally agree, a really underrated car!! And specifically what you say very reliable!

Good and bad experience by the sounds of it, is it a 1.4 or 1.6 you have?
