Really interested in something in the crown range, especially considering how cheap they are going at the auctions over there. How does this compare to the mark x? Whats the average landed and regod cost? couldnt imagine theyd need much compliance work being newer.
There are a variety of Mark X and Crown models so some will have overlap such as using the same engine and drive train, some will be unique. Prices are usually in the low to mid teens...

Mate It comes 4 wheel or rear wheel drive It depends on the person who do the orders as they are meant to build only for Japanese citizens only and some goes to China market They are V8 4.3 4.5 4.8 V6 3.5 3.00 2.5 Those are most And the top one is Athlate it comes 458Hp or 315HP or 258 or 212Hp and the Supercharged V8 you will see them with TOM’s best Japanese Company who modified those cars , That’s all I know mate as I got the Crown Royal extra G it’s 2005 3.0 258Hp and mate they are great good cars it won’t falls you just give them good oil service on time those lives for ever like a dream.. 😊 Best regards to you

I've not driven a Celsior from the same era (only older ones) however they are pretty similar... I'm not sure why Toyota made two cars that were so close to each other, really.
Nar thats the celsior. til 2009 couldn't buy lexus in japan so they had the major lexus models badged as toyotas the GS was the aristo then LS was celsior, how ever the top of the line car for sale from toyota in japan was the crown majesta. There ment to be better than the best lexus of the time. 2009 n onwards the LS takes the podium so 12gen crowns / 4th gen majesta is the sweet spot 2003~2007 ish

The only thing I don’t like about the majesta is they don’t have the crown emblems. Love it though!

Crowns are the top of Toyota's line up. The brand new Athletes and Majestas the same as Brand Lexus GSs when like for like engines.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, the smart keys are pretty reliable and you almost can't buy a higher end luxury car without them these days.
