Popup Reminder in Excel That Beeps and Speaks - Very Useful

- If you spend long hours on Excel then this project will be extremely useful for you: It will enable you to create a Reminder that pops up on time, reads a custom message aloud and displays the custom message in a message box.
You can either follow along and create it from scratch , or simply copy the code and paste it into your visual basic editor, without ANY Knowledge of VBA.

Alhamdulillah Mr Nabil! Jazakallah may Allah rewards you abundantly for your brilliant work! I have tested today 16.7.23, it really works! Guys, you need to delete some of the texts Mr Nabil added into the VBA script in his website, to match the one you saw in the video. Some double apostrophe may need to change to your keyboard type of double apostrophe. after i have tried those, it had work perfectly! Cant say enough thanks to Mr Nabil. wassalam.

What do I need to do if I want the time and message input to be via cells in an excel sheet instead of the input boxes?

EDIT: Okay, I figured it out....BUT now I'm having the issue of the script not running after I run a different macro script in the same excel. Do I have to run the macro every single time after I run a different macro, IS there a way around this?

Hi can you please share the similar video for creating a due date reminder with Speech and msg box. The current video is very useful and I was successful in creating the alarm Popup reminder.
Hi Nabil, it did pop up when i click on the icon, but it didnt react the way you shown, kindly advise if there is anything i supposed to do before i run this macro in a new excel spreadsheet. Also may i know if it can set date together with time? Or it can only used for the actual day or may a way to run by the listed time & date frame, instead of only for 1 reminder for each clicking?

What about adding a Date too?
I need a reminder 4 times a year to carry out a specific task, each on a different date.
The Message could give example of Date&Time format required.
e.g. "What Date & Time would you like the reminder message to pop up? Example: 12/07/22 9:00 AM

For example there is a dashboard report which I am sharing with 30 people on biweekly basis and I want to remind them to do something on a specific time and date so when they open the file after this time they'll get the message

Can the font of message or whole message be formatted to display large visibility.
The font and font size of MsgBox/InputBox are determined by your system and display settings, they cannot be changed by VBA. So you'd have to create your own dialog as a userform.
This is not working for me, when I copied the exact code, it says compile error. Can you please help me solve the problem?
Hi Nabil sir, I tried using your macro. But I faced an issue. The pop up comes immediately and not in the time I provided. I tried saving macro in the module of the personal workbook where I have stored other macros. How can pop up come in the input time?

For those having error messages with the quote boxes. delete the quote boxes and retype them manually

if you're receiving some compilation errors in VBA you should replace quotes from this -- “ -- to normal -- " -- everywhere in the code and also delete every comment after -- ' -- and it should work
