Do you like these blades? Are they any good? Let me know in the comment section.
I love these wiper blades. No smears, leave windscreen crystal clear. Thanks for the video👏👏
They're an Excellent upgrade on thw OE version very pleased and very pleased with your idiot proof fitting guide which made the job an absolute doddle!
Glad the video helped and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
This was extremely helpful, I appreciate it.
Great. Glad it helped.
I tried for 30 minutes on my own to install these damn wiper blades with no success. Next day I found your video, I went to the car to try again and I did it first try :))))
Thank you very much for the video, it was extremely helpful and well explained!
That's great. Thanks for letting me know.
I have been fitting wiper blades for 40+ years but these buggers got me proper baffled. This video soon sorted me out and prevented me having a complete melt down!
Excellent video. I watched it twice and within 5 minutes I had my wiper blades fitted and working. Thank you very much.
You're welcome, Christopher. Glad the video helped. Best wishes.
Thank you very much - I was stumped on opening the parcel. No instructions on how to open the fitting - I was terrified I would break something if I used too much force. I wasn't sure how to tackle it. Your video clearly showed where to squeeze to get it to open. A bit of a struggle for me to squeeze and lift but got it open in the end. Thank you so much for the clear information
Thank you for your kind message. I'm glad you got it sorted.
@@CarSpyTV I successfully replaced the large wiper blade on my Prius. The security latch on the old one was broken off and I was concerned that the blade might come off. So I replaced it and was able to secure it. Unfortunately there is no way I seem to be able to get off the smaller wiper. So it is stuck fast until I can get a mechanic to get it off! Fortunately it is a new one so still in good nick.
A great help. Very clear and well explained. I struggled for ages before my wife suggested finding your video. No trouble after that.
Good stuff. Glad the video helped.
CarSpytv mannie....thank you so much...I am a complete numpty on stuff like this so very grateful for walking through the process...if ever in Aberdeen owe you a tattie scone or buttery or something....❤️
No worries, Space Pirate. Glad the video helped. Scone sounds tempting! Best wishes.
Excellent tutorial. So easy to follow. After watching the video a couple of times I had both blades fitted in no time. Thank you.
You're welcome, Keith. Glad you got things sorted.
@@CarSpyTV thanks for a great tutorial
No problem, Matthew.
Very good, instructions clear and concise with just the right amount of humour. A pleasure to see your video.
Thank you for the kind comment. More videos to follow.
Simple video and on point , no bill shit at all , great content mate
Thanks Alex. Glad the video helped.
Thanks very much for your help! I couldn't even open the new one but then it was plain sailing after watching your video 😃
You're welcome. Glad the video helped.
At last a simple no nonsense clear and straightforward tutorial
Thank you, Neil. Glad it helped.
Thank you. This is much clearer than the actual Bosch video.
Glad the video helped, David.
Just upgraded to these from the old style ugly metal body ones!
To be fair my old wipers worked fine, they were just looking abit shabby as the body of the wipers were turning brown! So I decided to upgrade to the Bosch Aerotwins, they cost more than other brands, but I did my research and came to the conclusion that it’s worth spending a few £’s more on these.
I haven’t tested them properly yet in the rain, as of course it was sunny and dry when I bought them today, but I used the windscreen washer a few times to check them, and was very impressed with how they clear the screen with zero marks/streaks/lines, just a perfect sweep, and you can’t hear them at all.
It’s also made my car look more modern having flat wipers, which is a bonus👍🏻
Just hope this kind of performance holds up, and doesn’t start making noises after 6-12months. But apparently they don’t, so we’ll see.
I think it’s definitely an overlooked part of a car, certainly with your average Joe driver anyway, they would probably just carry on using rubbish wipers until the MOT tester fails them, and then changes them with some cheap generic branded wipers(which is fine, but don’t last long, or start to rust like mine did)
Agreed. A lot of people forget that installing new, high quality wiper blades can dramatically improve visibility (and therefore minimise any risk of collision).
The Bosch Aerotwin has worked nicely on my car. The first set lasted 18 months, removed water effectively for most of that time (without streaking), and didn't get noisy. The second set has been good, too. I think you'll be happy long term.
CarSpyTV Thanks for the feedback, I’d be happy with 18 months, I think £34 (that I paid) is worth that much time of having perfectly clear windscreens 👍🏻
Thank you. Made the job too easy.
Glad the video helped. More to follow.
Excellent pace of information, nice and steady
Well done. !!
Thank you, David.
Looking for assistance to fit these blades on my F56 mini as no instructions on how to open the catch then came across this video and BINGO, job done.
Thanks. 👍👍👍
No worries, Geoff. Glad it's sorted.
Excellent instructions. Thanks 👍
Thank you. Glad the video helped.
I was about to give up, as the shape of the wiper hook in my Toyota (a kind of flattened zig-zag) makes it impossible to put it through the hole and around the pivoting bridge. I needed to remove the locking catch (max. open and pull carefully but firmly), put the hook through the hole of the catch first, attach the hook to the wiper blade as you show in the video, and then lock the catch back in its place on the blade and close to lock the blade. Thanks for the video!
You're welcome.
Thank you for sharing.
Easy when you are shown by an expert.
No problem, Andrew. Thanks for the comment.
Brilliant! Saved my 4 bucks fitting charge from halford😁
Good stuff. Glad the video helped.
Quality video! Can’t believe Halford fleece people £4 to fit them, when you can watch this and then do it yourself for free!
Thanks. Glad the video was helpful.
Thank you so much. It helped me today to do it.
You're welcome.
Thanks for this very useful video!
No problem. Glad it helped.
Fantastic, just what I needed, have liked and subscribed..!!
Great. Glad the video helped. Welcome to the channel. 👍
Thank you! Used this to install AR22 & AR20 on a Toyota GT86!
You're welcome.
Very helpful thank you, shows me that I'm not being stupid and I've had the wrong model sent out to me (again).
Glad the video helped. I recently had the wrong blades sent, too.
@@CarSpyTV I understand it's pretty easy to do so with so many variations out there, but it seems us with hook fittings are bottom of the list!
Great explanation, looks simple.... will get back to report when Feel brave enough to fit them. Bit cold out at the moment!
.... lovely! Went like a dream! Thank You!
No worries and good luck.
Subscribed and liked, of course.
Awesome video!! It was super easy to follow. I just replaced the wipers effortlessly. Thank you so much!
You're welcome, Rajesh. Glad you've got it sorted.
You save my life thanks
Glad the video helped.
I remember fiddling with this years ago and it taking far too long. But not this time 😉 Thanks for the video!
No worries, Jai R. Glad it made life easier.
Excellent video. Thanks a million for showing so clearly and easily how to do this.
No worries, Andrew. Glad it helped.
What a simple technique 👌
Thanks for the comment and best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Thanks! Very unintuitive design from Bosch, your video was the only one that explained in detail.
No worries, Martin. Glad you got it sorted.
Good clear instructions, had no problems following them . Blades are excellent
Thanks. Glad the video helped.
Just used your video to change my blades! Thank you so much
That's great. Glad the video helped.
Thank you! Your explanation was succinct yet still incorporated relevant details with clear visual examples that made it a breeze to do battle with the ever popular wiper-change-during-winter. Much obliged. 😊👍Happy New Year!
Thank you, John. Happy new year to you too.
Extremely useful video delivered in a very friendly and amusing way! Thanks.
You're welcome, Michael. Glad you like the video.
Brilliant video. To the point, with clear instructions.
Glad it helped, Chris.
Thanks very much for the footage my friend, much appreciated 😁👊👌done
You're welcome, Stephen.
Thank you! Remarkably difficult to find out how to raise that clip on the new Aerotwin (as you say here, by pushing in on both sides first!)
No worries, Rhino. Glad you got it sorted.
Great advice for wiper fitting.😢🎉
Glad the video helped. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
Thank you! Really useful. I had already changed the wiper blades before I found this video. It would have been much faster and less tricky😅 It was a cheaper supermarket copy of this product, but the principle was exactly the same.
*It didn’t mention on the label that it was a “copy” or any instructions how to install it. At least I would have known how to look for a tutorial on youtube😂🤷🏻♂️
My pleasure, Kristof. Glad you've got the car sorted. All the best.
@@CarSpyTV thank you. Yes, they are much more quiet than the regular ones were. All the best to you too! Keep up the good work
Very good thank you and just in time before more bad weatherr. Good luck with the brolly!

That's great, Mahammad. Glad the video helped.
GREAT JOB WELL EXPLAINED
Thanks Bill.
Merci beaucoup. Votre tutoriel m'a bien aidé.
You're welcome.
helpful video .thanks. looked fairly simple but so much easier now seeing the vid and i'm shoving it into the correct end of the pivoting bridge. initially tried the bit the stuck up..and it just didn't close. these things can be delicate so you never like to force them if you're not 100% sure, you're doing it right.
Thank you, Trotter. Glad you've got it sorted.
got me out of a bind. thanks.
You're welcome, Michael.
Concise and perfect for my needs - many thanks!
You're welcome, Chris.

Champion, thanks mate.
No problem, Ben.
Thank you I was starting to panic, had removed old one but struggling to even open new one. Also let me know about setting wipers as per my manual.
You're welcome. Glad you got it sorted.
Brilliant again hard work fixing the old transit
I'm sure the Transit's worth the effort, Ian. Hope you're doing well.
@@CarSpyTV spent all weekend but happy with the outcome, still got loads to do but now got loads of time
thanks a million mate. All those fittings coming with blade had me confused.
No problem 👍
Mine didn’t come with any, but I know that there’s two versions of these wipers, one is for newer style fittings, and the ones I got were the retrofit ones for the older hook style arms. I guess the hook style ones wouldn’t need different connectors in the box, so I’m guessing yours was for a newer car
A very helpful little video. Many thanks.
You're welcome, Roger. Glad it helped.
It works a treat. Thx
You're welcome, Carolyn.
you just saved my sanity, thank you!

Man you are funny and insightful
Thank you, Thaer. Best wishes.
You sir are an absolute Legend 👑 thank you!
Thank you. As are you.
You video is good except for (like all the other instruction videos) next to show the bit between opening the cap to remove the wiper and fitting the new one in the hook. How do you remove the old wiper, it doesn't seem to just slide off. Which way do you slide the old one off?
Hello. How you remove the old wiper blade varies by type. Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
well done a simple answer and now its simple to do!!!
Glad the video helped, Martin.
Perfect! I was looking for a video like this, simple, exact. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks a lot, very easy to do now I know how.
No worries, Tim.
Extremely helpful video 👍
Thanks. Glad it was helpful.
I bought the multiclip ones thinking one of the clips for sure will fit my hook-style wipers. Turns out multiclip fits all EXCEPT this one, and you have to buy separate model for hook mounts. Eh... At least now I know how to install these when I buy them.
Sounds like one of those days! Best wishes from CarSpyTV.
to the point, good humour. Top marks sir
Thank you, Eric. That's appreciated. All the best.
Nice one

Thank you. Glad it helped.
Very informative video this! Thanks alot mate :)
Thanks. Glad it helped.
Thanks
You're welcome.
Easy as pie once you know how the mechanism opens. Too tempting to stick a small flathead screw driver in it, like the older wiper style and brake the plastic. Because of the cost, very few folks now change just the new rubber wiper, unless you have a classic car that had chrome or stainless arms. The old rubber replacement only method was usually a waste of time as the wiper would slip in the old holder and also the bright metal caused glare on a sunny day. I do like the look of these Aerotwin and similar brands. It seems they would have a better squeegee effect? They are supposed to last much longer, too. We shall see.
For reference, I typically change mine every 18 months. At that point, they tend to be past their best but not completely worn out.
Good video!
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it.
