Where Are Ü Now -Jack Ü BEST "Flute" drop remake, from Justin Bieber voice
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 11 окт 2024
- This is how Jack Ü (Skrillex & Diplo) make the famous "flute" from Where Are Ü Now, from justin Bieber voice.
Using the "And you the most" sample (That you can only hear from the original mix version called The Most)
and after that distort and pitched up with some Reverb.
plot: bieber is a flute
not a plot twist.. a plot all along
@@dy8576 plot twist: it was "plot" all along
Legends say...justin bieber was a flute all along-
m.ruclips.net/video/EzQICrXHKPM/видео.html
a flute in human shape
0:48 That final reverb just makes the sound perfect.... *chef's kiss*

Skrillex & Diplo are geniuses for this one. Very creative lead sound 🔥
Great remake dude 😃
well only skrillex it was his idea
I think it's "lazy" sound, but it works, with all processing
@@lbks16 what? lazy? how?
@@lbks16 One would think that taking vocals and turning them into a convincing flute sound is not as lazy as grabbing a flute and playing these notes on it. The way sound is made and manipulated cannot be "lazy"
@@GamerOrmer Do you know deadmau5? If it wasn't that "lazy" he wouldn''t have trolled that song :)
Diplo and skrillex made the drop sound exactly this way. They didn’t want to make a flute sound. It was their intention to make a drop with justin biebers vocal, like a vocal chop
Exactly, they were playing with the vocals like his other songs, making vocal chops, but this becames in something different, the distort and reverb was what made it unique.
In those years the vocals distortions was something amazing but today every single popper and reggaeton song use that technique. It's really cool but not amazing anymore. #sad
@@paulmartin8599 DJ snake always plays with vocals, and does it better now.
@@tash5540 Now every fuckin producer play with voices. Is on every pop and even reggaeton song. It was a good technique but now is on everywhere.
And yep, Dj snake and sonny and other producers were the first ones distorting vocals
But it was whale sound. Skrillex and Diplo said it in its making video
this is very very unexpected i thought they made it using a vst
Nope just justin Bieber’s voice and they used little alterboy which is a voice alteration plug-in
The power of ableton
@@XuanBoone the isn't of the daw, the power is of the producer.
@@DanielMaia i know it is, and I'm on FL myself, but ableton always looked like it had so many nice features that seem to ease sound design, and let people do it so freely.. Something fl seems to lack. Although yeah im sure you can get the same sounds through both daws.
@@XuanBoone isn't this guy using FL though? I mean Deadmau5 has always used FL as far as I knew 😂 I've grown up using Reason, so it's really about what you get to grips with. At the end of the day they all do the same things, it's just the work flow that changes
cool

I'm shocked, I found out just now, through you that this Lead was created that way🔥🔥

I did this in ableton and it seems to get that more “flute sound” if you use some sort of vocoder with it
really? can you show me?
i pitched up with autotune one time and sounded really good!
Paul Martin G i don’t have a tut on this and this isn’t the same vocal but the concept still applies

Wow you are genious, boy
thats so awesome!
So it seems like you nailed it.. But can you explain it step by step. The process and what causes what? I use Ableton so I have trouble understanding whats happening in FL.
From what I can tell:
effektor = adding some dirt/saturation?
An eq to cut down on the hi freq artifacts, is this a low pass filter? or bell curve cuts?
An amp sim/sat/hi pass filter
an eq to low and hi pass
pitch bend 12 octaves? or 24 octaves? cant tell cause you use two different pitch knobs. In ableton there is only pitch knob. Maybe they used melodyne?
a reverb.
Whatd i get right/wrong
My english is terrible bc i speak spanish but i will try to explain a little.
Everything u said is right,
i put some distort, and after that some eq to slow the bass.
then that a filter, to calm de distortion, and more eq bc sounds like under whater and with so much bass.
after i pitched up 24 semitones (2 octaves), there's 2 buttom bc one of that have only 12, abd the other have between 1 to 48, so i put only 12 in the second buttom.
After that some reverb and finish it.
I know my english is bad but i hope u understand me
i forget say something:
i dont understand somethings u said bc i dont know all that terminology of production.
I understood everything you said so you are pretty good english to me! Also I can try to rephrase what I said if you did not understand a certain part. I think you covered it though! Can this work on any vocal? cause its a pretty dope sound! :D
@@melomania2637 what do u mean with "i covered it"?
And yeaah, u can apply the same effects in any vocal.
I make beats and i ever distort my voice and sounds cool, and make other distort that u coludn't even imagine.
And im interested to show my music but i dont know
'Covered it' means you made sense and answered my question pretty much. I only wonder what that first EQ is doing exactly. Like if it just a low pass or hi pass filter or what frequency it is cutting.
In Ableton I put: Overdrive, *EQ*, Hi pass filter, hi pass/low pass EQ, Reverb, Pitch 24 octave.
my first eq is wrong though because it isnt cleaning up the distortion like you. What do i do with the first EQ after the overdrive?
holy nutty wtf good shit
