- In this session, I really tried to push my limits on a few of the corners by coming into them faster and faster until it almost bit me towards the end! A couple close call for sure.

I was going around a corner after a double step up section and I gave it too much gas and high sided down the hill.
Meanwhile... that's me like 3 times a lap!! Lol

Looks like corner speed is up, but I would say it looks like you're running into those jumps faster directly out of the corners too because of it. Smooooth.

Send your ECU off to Twisted Development. It really helps make a difference with adding a little more HP to this bike and freeing it up. It will even feel lighter afterward because of the better throttle response. Plus if you try to run race fuel again this year like you did last year on your husky your going to run into the same problem. Stock bikes aren't tuned for that.
You should look into getting twisted development to do a flash your ECU. Maybe do a review on it?
Jeff, my kids love watching your videos, they watch them all the time. My kids also ride and your videos have been an influence to them. I have started to record some of their riding and races so that they can watch and compare between theirs and yours! Keep the videos and riding coming, its good clean content!

Your corners are looking super smooth, you can tell a big difference right off the bat
I'm callin' it right now. Jeff is definitely qualifying for the Nationals this year, consistently. And hell, I'll add onto that..he's gonna be in a points scoring position this year! Just the way he handles that KTM, he's much more comfortable on the bike...and able to hammer those corners, and really rail it on those straights. And as I've said on previous videos...he might even grab the attention of a sponsor, or two...who knows, Jeff Walker? Future Red Bed Factory KTM rider? Anybody?

Jwalk got a little loose a couple times pushing the envelope. Watch out for those other guys, we don't want to see a tangle up and miss any races. Give us a little more commentary befor/after and show a little Bridget film and interview, miss seeing her. Keep up the good work, Braaaap!

The wisest thing I've ever heard from a rider was "Too much power makes you slow." The honda was too much power at times, and you had to slow down the regain control. Ktm you're just on rails in those corners. Like your dad said it's like you're riding a 250f with more power
That's why dungey went to the 350 his last couple years, it handled like a 250 with a super beefed up motor

@@austinmonk8809 he never raced a 350 professionally one time in his life. If he did, why is there not a single peice of info online about it ? But yet when Mike Alessi raced a 350, it was major news? That's because Dungey NEVER raced a 350.
The 2020 KTM should get bike of the year for sure. It's in a league of its own stock or modified

Are you switching to KTM Jeff ? Either way I enjoyed the content. It looks like you're able to lay the KTM over farther in the turns than with the Honda. But I watched a lot of the vids from like month and a half ago and I thought you looked pretty damn dialed in on the Honda.

The front end on my 2020 KTM 450 gets a bit chattery through the bumps. Looks like you’re dealing with the same thing. Gettin arm pump?
Your problem is suspension rebound/technique.

one thing i will say is the Honda sounds way better...however I rode my dads quiet 2018 factory edition and loved riding it..super easy to corner super easy to ride and push on it..honda is a different beast to hold onto..but I still love each bike for what they are and at my level it's not a big deal

Jeff, I totally understand if you dont want to answer this question. Im all for your decision to switch to ktm, you seem very comfortable and fast on it, but I was wondering, with performance obviously comes less durability. Do you think you will have financial issues if the bike starts living up to the stereotype of breaking a lot? Or do you think with the sponsors behind you and youtube income that it shouldn't be an issue during your race seasons? once again understandable if you dont want to answer, your safeword can be pineapple. Go kick some ass this year :)
My friends dad had one of the 450 Ktms and he spent a lot of money on it. 2 months later and he was totally out of money just trying to keep the bike running for a lap
@@itsmemario587 they seem like great performance machines but like i said performance usually puts less protection on parts which sucks. For the average rider it just seems like a ktm isnt worthit

Request: Aim the camera down a little so I can see your hands. Are you dragging the front brake in the turns? Your tips are welcomed. Also - what do you think about a steering stabilizer? Take some of that play out of the front may let you go a little harder and longer?
The new KTM’s are the last bikes you’d put steering stabilizers on, they are very headstrong
