Chula Vista: Solo Vehicle Accident 05112024

LOCATION: Bay Blvd & SB I-5 L St exit.

It’s unknown at this time why the female crashed. It’s believed she had a medical emergency. She came off of the southbound I-5 onto the L St exit and didn’t make the turn.
The car left the roadway and went up on the gore point curb. The car hit a few street signs before coming to a stop. The victim was extricated and transported to a local hospital.
