Pam’s sale is great. She had no idea what to do, stuttered over herself trying to think of how to make it happen, and behold! She guaranteed that sale!!
The best part about it is it illustrates the idea that entry level jobs lead to greater opportunities. Ryan thought he was "too good" to make copies and answer the phone but Pam started out doing those things and that led her to greater things. If you really look at Ryan he honestly pretty much accomplishes nothing the whole show because he's basically just a huge loser with no personal drive. LOL!
@@SimpleManGuitars1973i wouldn't say that's entirely true. He got promoted to Jan's old position and he was pretty full of himself. He had enough drive to want to commit fraud and pump up his numbers.

This almost had me thinking that Michael leaving Dunder Mifflin would be when The Office jumped the shark but in reality became one of my favorite arcs of the show.
@@calilaployploy2827it’s way too short when you’re watching the show in a binge, but imagine watching it week to week. There’s like a 5-6 week arc starting from Charles Miner showing up and ending with Michael’s company being bought by DM. In comedy tv, that’s a much bigger arc than you’d normally see
Bc it was a planned short arc. Michael was always going to do something for transferring holly, and realistically Michael Scott cant run a company thats why it was like 3 episodes
the whole michael scott paper company storyline was so good. i found myself genuinely rooting for them and michael pam and ryan were super endearing through the whole thing, esp pam
The Michael Scott Paper Company story arc would have made a great The Office movie. From the moment Charles showed up to Michael winning at the end was perfect.
The one thing that I almost forgot about the Michael Scott Paper company is that Michael assembled a dream team made up Vikram, Pam and the guy who started the fire.
I'm told that when CROCs first came out, almost everyone hated them and made fun them. It was a niche product with a dedicated fan base. Now, my generation loves them. Michael Scott was a genius ahead of his time.
@@PizzaPenguin650 My father is a very successful individual who owns 2 golf courses in the fancy resort town of Blowing Rock, NC (Blue Ridge Mountains) and 17 rental properties and he wears CROCs almost 24/7. You can take the CROCs out of the trailer park, but you’ll never take the trailer park out of the CROCs.
In my opinion, the Michael Scott Paper Company is the great climax of the first part of the show, the crescendo of the five seasons previous to it. Even though there are plenty of episodes and many jokes after this story arc that I really love, I always sort of internally consider this the finale story arc of the golden era of the show. Really superb stuff
Everything about Pam leaving a job with a steady paycheck, benefits, and trying to start something brand new and so unknown with a boss like Michael is too goddamn fictional.
Why does Michael have framed signs for “No right turn, no left turn, and no U turn” in his condo? I never noticed that before 😂 12 years of watching the office…
6:45 To be fair, Ryan is right. Its better Pam does that stuff. Ryan almost burned the building down making a cheesy pita, so he'd probably make the copier set fire too.
He got fed up with Michael within the first few hours when he asked Michael what his business plan was. He asked Michael to drive him back to the Telemarketing office and immediately resigned…
