    I am sorry but I love old dishes. You are having fun but I like them as they were unless they are broken.

      I agree with you about loving the old glass and it is a shame they are not used regularly. A few of the pieces I find do have chips on the edges or they are only one of a set - most are in fine shape. I think this also brings them out of the cabinet to be enjoyed in a whole new way.

    Why silicone over E-6000 for example? Doesn’t the weight from the pieces separate? I want to try this but I don’t want to have things fall and break if I can help it.

      You could certainly use that adhesive. I have just found that the silicone works perfectly fine. It holds pieces just fine if you put a solid bead between them and let them dry at least overnight if you are still building. My hanging pieces don't come apart and neither do my totems - even when they get knocked around. It also is relatively easy to remove and replace broken pieces, which I show in a few of the videos. Be brave!
