Its been a decade ago and the Interpol has consolidated as one of my favorite bands. The only thing I miss from them is the lack of guitar soloes in their songs.
One of the greatest and most underrated bass lines of the century. Nothing rocks harder after the bridge and slow down, builds up the anticipation perfectly, then the drums come in with the bass and go crazy.

I'm glad I can die having seen these guys in my hometown of Albuquerque, NM.

Awesome how he sings too fast even listening on 0.5. Love it
“This is a new year”, not “this isn’t you yet.”
it so does have a hearing test 😂
eerily similar to last night strokes...
but last nite came out first. so yep
Well spotted.
Not at all
I personally think it is really similar to This Charming Man from The Smiths and I guess that one came out even before The Strokes existed.
Totally different, dude
Still think lead singer Paul Banks sounds like a Dalek!
The Chameleons and The Sound are far better and Interpol were HEAVILY influenced by both. Oh i have autographs from member's of both.
@stevemrmusic9 I'm not entirely sure what it is about.. is this Steve C off Facebook? lol
