This stage is when she finds out how lonely it can be once certain truths are discovered and your worldview changes so drastically. When she discovers that ignorance truly was bliss... but it's all once upon a time now. There really is no going back. There's a lot of mixed emotions and acceptance to go thru. Her music and video really have represented and depicted it quite well.

After listening to almost all of Poppy's music, I must say this heavier, darker sound is so much better than the full-out pastel kawaii girl vibes and I'm vibing. The thing I love the most is shes bringing back a lost genre of music.
