From the first aggressive riffs of the opening track “Larva” to the last song “Carved In Aether” the roots in the Gothenburg death metal scene of the 90s are clear. The melodies are epic, but very well executed, the grooves are quite explosive following the rhythmic pattern of the melodic guitar. The incorporation of keyboards is an important point to highlight, creating gloomy and sinister atmospheres. The harmonic duo between vocalist and guitarist mitigates the aggressiveness and leaves room for an epic feeling throughout the entire Ep. The voice of G.S. It's sensational. Caerimonia Umbrae is well crafted by skilled musicians, clearly grounded in the depth of the genre but without leaving aside personal creativity. Hail Okhema₆₆₆
