    6 - Forced Robbery
Ann Mayers, a 74-year-old woman from Hamilton, Ohio, found herself in a desperate situation after losing her life savings to an online scam. So Mayers decided to rob a local credit union to recover her financial losses. She entered the AurGroup Credit Union in nearby Fairfield Township, brandishing a firearm and demanding money from a teller. Dressed in a face mask and carrying a blue bag, she was captured on surveillance footage during the heist.
    5 - Unexpected Tragedy
On Christmas Eve in Largo, Florida, a family dispute tragically escalated into a situation most people would never imagine happen to their own family. The situation resulted in the passing of Abrielle Baldwin, a mother of two. The incident began during a seemingly innocent shopping trip that turned sour. Abrielle's two teenage brothers, Damarcus and Darcus Coley, began arguing over who received more Christmas presents- brothers, amiright?
    4 - Shoplifting Sprees
Karen Beckett, Ann-Marie Beckett, and Paige Griffin are three moms from the UK who had a little too much time on their hands. They went on a calculated 140-mile crime spree, stealing over $1,600 worth of goods from several stores in Cheshire, UK. Their targets included UK stores such as TK Maxx- which is just TJ Maxx, but everyone sounds really smart-, Next, and Home Bargains- which sounds like a knock off of Home Goods, but it’s not-, and they managed to haul away the usual items you’d suspect such as shoes, cosmetics, and clothes.
    3 - Really Bored?
Paul Elson, a 64-year-old retired United Nations worker from the UK, was sentenced to 10 and a half years in prison for his unexpected role in a trafficking scheme. Despite his previous clean record and modest lifestyle as a golf coach, Elson got tangled in an operation that moved substantial amounts of illegal substances worth nearly $3.3 million on the street into Liverpool. The police uncovered this cache in a waterfront apartment during a raid.
    2 - The Scamming Lawyer
Analiza Kjaer, a lawyer originally from the Philippines, found herself in serious trouble after misusing a client's £132,000 pound divorce settlement. While operating her law firm from Italy, Kjaer was expected to transfer this substantial amount to her client, Elena Tomsa. Instead, she redirected the funds to cover other clients' payments, clear business debts, support personal expenses, and even settle her tax bill.
1 - Wrong Place, Wrong Time
William Brock, an 81-year-old man from South Charleston, West Virginia, was arrested following an extremely tragic incident stemming from a telephone scam. The situation unfolded when Brock, victimized by a scam involving a supposed incarcerated relative, was led to believe that his family was under threat unless he paid money.

    What would you rather do:
Go streaking in front of a packed stadium during a sporting event and get paid $50,000
    OR
Pay $2,000 (if you refuse to streak)

I am sorry if Brock was scammed, but as I understand, he lost no money. And had no reason to kill Hall.

When you are too stupid to send your own money to total strangers who are scammers, blame only yourself and stop blaming the public and the banks. The truth is the truth folks.

*Pablito’s Way should’ve recommended Netflix’s “The Masked Scammer” instead of that terrible French movie “Je Compte Sur Vous” otherwise known as “Thank you for Calling.” I saw that movie with English subtitles (my French has gotten significantly worse since taking 3 years in high school). The movie was absolutely terrible, it was some cornball low budget film that I couldn’t take seriously…way too many bloopers. It did not feel like a business drama movie. I think they were going for the hybrid business comedy routine and it just failed. The Netflix documentary is a whole lot better.*
