Not all of us would be dropping our phones from 50 feet but at least this test shows which case is the best value for your money. And besides a few of these cases make huge claims about durability from any extreme situation so its nice to put that claim to the test.
I wouldn't expect any of these cases to hold up at 50 feet. I'm more interested in how it holds up if I drop it from hand onto the ground. A lot of this depends on how it hits the ground. How'd you get so many iPhone 6's to destroy? Such a shame. There's children in Africa who don't even have an iPhone 5, let alone 6.

The video would be 10x more useful if you started at a lower height then worked your way up. The video is slightly entertaining but it's not a guide to go by how tough a case is as the video suggests in the end as with this kind of height it will 80% come down the luck of the drop with one test and stupid height.

I had an otter box life proof i dropped my phone on a daily basis. Once I tripped over a rock and my phone went flying over my 5'2 friends head onto Little Rock's, landed screen first. I had a film from the nude life proof and I looked at my phone and there was nothing wrong other than a tiny hole that didn't touch my screen. I switched to a otter box defender, not my best choice. I dropped my phone on the back on hard wood and it cracked just like it did in this video. If you drop your phone a lot I recommend the life proof. If you want your phone protected and don't drop it a lot I recommend the otter box defender.
The lifeproof worked for me too, but it falls apart in only a few months. It is built-in obsolescence. Falls apart right after the one year warranty ends.

B. It's been done by plenty of other RUclipsrs, whereas most others do not test from the same height as this video.
It's entertaining and I always want to know the limit of the so-called tough cases. He got me to make finalize my decision at which case I should really go for. I had an otter box life proof i dropped my phone on a daily basis. Once I tripped over a rock and my phone went flying over my 5'2 friends head onto Little Rock's, landed screen first. I had a film from the nude life proof and I looked at my phone and there was nothing wrong other than a tiny hole that didn't touch my screen. I switched to a otter box defender, not my best choice. I dropped my phone on the back on hard wood and it cracked just like it did in this video. If you drop your phone a lot I recommend the life proof. If you want your phone protected and don't drop it a lot I recommend the otter box defender.
The lifeproof worked for me too, but it falls apart in only a few months. It is built-in obsolescence. Falls apart right after the one year warranty ends.
