Sure Ronnie can switch genres, but if I had to be honest and I know I would come off as negative but Ronnie's been writing the same stuff for about like over a decade about trying to be a better person, but he's saying so much that it made him look insecure and becomes repetitive after a while and it's starting to become tiresome, I wish he could at least sing about something else, at least that's just me getting used to it 🤷♂️
I get it! I think I’d have to listen to more of his music to really understand because it’s been a while but I understand the gist of it. Sometimes people can get stuck in a rhythm that isn’t easy to break out of.
I get what you are saying it is mostly one train of thought but honestly that is what the dude is living and surrounded with. A product of his environment maybe? I like the fact they stay out of political issues etc... so I wouldn't want that. I also couldn't see them doing things like Iron Maiden or Rush in their lyrics it would not fit what they are. I completely understand how you feel but honestly what would he write about?
I don't agree. Sure he's writing songs about his life and his feelings and since he's the same person, that's the same topic. But how many topics are there to sing about? Emotions: Love, hate, feeling sad, being happy, etc Actions: most people in this category write about partying, drinking, flirting, etc. Material things: My house, car, boat, etc Politics: what I think is wrong with society I'm glad that Ronnie isn't singing about partying, and about what he owns. Politics- Zombified was a nice one for a change, but I really don't want to listen to political music a lot, since I have to hear and talk about this topic with my friends and family and I'm honestly pretty tired of it. Plus it's not relatable for everyone (if you live somewhere else or have different views).
@@KrisThroughGlass I can agree that we're tired of politics in music, and especially social media in music, sorry if I ended a bit too honest even towards Kurtis B during his Renaissance, but a lot can change over a year, but at least we'll that he'll push through the same that we do 👍
