Here's a video that compares the 4 different mix presets within Fairview, and demonstrates how Fairview sounds out of the box.

Someone drop a video of all presets without external processing to see how mix-ready they really are…

We're currently working on a few clips for our social media channels to demonstrate the mix presets out of the box. If you'd like to check out the Default Mix 1 preset, all of the grooves on our SoundCloud page are fairly 'out-of-the-box'. Just a parallel compression bus and limiter. No other samples/processing. Link is below.

Can you drop a guitar pro midi track into the player? (Fl studio) Do you still have the ability to tweak the velocity?

    • @rsdrumsofficial

The groove player in Fairview (along with other Kontakt drum instruments) will read a general MIDI mapping. You can convert the MIDI from Guitar Pro to general MIDI, and the groove player will be able to read/assign the articulations properly. Another option is to change the MIDI assignments in the 'Settings' page of Fairview to match the Guitar Pro mapping, and you can save that custom mapping for future use as well. This will allow you to drag the MIDI from Guitar Pro straight into your session. And yes, you can tweak the velocity within your DAW. Hope this is helpful.
