    I've lost 34.12% of my body weight on Ozempic since May 11/22 and I'm 66 years old and not diabetic. I stopped my cholesterol pills and no longer need my sleep apnea machine.

    Mounjaro is the beast. Started Sept. 2022 for weight loss (no T2D) and I lost 87 lbs in 11 months which is 41.3% of my starting body weight. I was able to use the Eli Lilly Savings Card at $25/box before the T2D requirement.
    Metabolizing like when I was 16. All my heath issues resolved themselves in the first two months of treatment. Never had to use more than 7.5 mg after month three. On maintenance now taking a shot every 14 days. The oz of water weight creep up after day 9 like clockwork. Take a shot and it’s all managed. Zero side effects. Lifesaving after being at a BMI of 39.5! Today I’m at 22 BMI now. I’m trying to work with my insurance team on a pre-authorization appeal. Chronic obesity requires treatment and preventative measures and my data proves the weight will come back.

    Hi Doctor is it ok to combine these meds with intermittent or even extended water only fasting? I asked Google what would happen if you did and Google said it would cause HYPOGLYCEMIA.. but I'm hearing in your video that you stated it wouldn't.. I wish I lived in Texas so I could just go to your office but I live in Colorado...

    Every person I know over the age of 40 (including those who has always been naturally skinny) has so called ‘Ozempic Face’ unless they have had work done. One of the very few perks of obesity is less wrinkles as clearly fat is a natural filler. When I lost 20 kgs naturally in 2015 at the age of 45 I Iooked much older in the face than I had prior to the weight loss. No Ozempic then but in photos I look like I have Ozempic Face. Common sense 😻

    Weight lost is half fat half muscle. And in the longer time will paralyse your digestive system.

    Why don’t people just exercise and lose weight without a pill ? I did it . There’s side effects to all pharmaceuticals- it’s not worth the risk when you can do it yourself.

    • @aimeelinekar3902
      @aimeelinekar3902 Год назад +25

      Indeed it isn’t, which is why people turn to the meds only after years of the old advice not working. I too have lost weight naturally in the past - but my insulin management is so poor that I can’t eat normal meals with my family if I’m lighter, and I need to do superhuman amounts of sport. I’ve ruined my joints, quite possibly beyond repair, as a result. Like that, I can maintain a solid bmi 27. At least until chronic illness hits my family, or I have a baby, or I’m diagnosed with bone edema and can’t walk as much.
      Be grateful old fashioned diet and exercise worked for you - you were healthy enough for it to suffice! Don’t assume laziness or inadequacy in those less fortunate.

    • @copperpenny7639

      This is dumb. Obviously people have tried diet and exercise and it didn't work in particular very obese who generally have moderate to severe insulin resistance and unless.

      Our brains Hate for people to lose weight. Losing slowly, and strength training helps keep the brain from increasing hunger, slowing metabolism, etc. It fears us starving, no matter your weight.

      I have always exercised and eaten a very healthy diet, no processed junk food, after years of this I still could not drop excess weight I gained from 2 pregnancies. I am currently on Ozempic, dropping weight slowly, 😢still following my healthy lifestyle, this has given me hope that I will someday be closer to a normal weight.
