- Опубликовано: 24 июл 2024
- This physics video tutorial provides a basic introduction into mechanical waves. It contains plenty of examples and practice problems. It discusses how to calculate the period, amplitude, wavelength and frequency from a sine wave graph. It explains how to calculate the wavelength from the frequency and the speed of the mechanical wave on a string. One practice problem explains how to calculate the wave speed on a string given the tension force applied to the string. It mentions how to calculate the linear density or mass per unit length of the string and how to calculate the wavelength given frequency. The last problem is on standing waves. It explains how to calculate the fundamental frequency, the frequency of the third harmonic, and the frequency of the fifth overtone. In addition, it mentions how to determine the number of nodes and antinodes from a given harmonic / overtone.

Vov thanks
Thanks!
Thanks dude☺
A king. When I graduate I promise to send you money ! Thanks for all your help. Im an undergrad in Minnesota. pls do a meet and greet once 😭
wooow👏👏👏👏👏
You can send the money to me if you'd like. :D
@@rayvenne2643 close your mouth 💀💀
@@flygod. HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAH
Did you graduate yet ?
Most understandable explanation I've seen. TYSM I really need this.
You helped me alot thank you so much, am here stak in the house and have alot of online quizez where there is alot of lesson that i didnt understand, but you helped me and thank you for that
Thank You for your effort you're future saver :"")
Now I understand the mechanicAl wave lesson
Thx much
COULD YOU SHARE YOUR LINKS WHICH YOU TEACH IN MANY TOPICS I WANT TO ATTEND ALL SUBJECTS
still he helps us !! tysm
Thank you ❤️
what app did u use
Have over a month to review for the AP Physics 1 exam 😬 will this physics playlist help or is it geared towards calculus and not algebra?
Here is my Physics 1 Final Exam review video. I hope it helps:

I have more than one playlist on physics but this particular physics video playlist is geared toward algebra:

sir,can you please help me to answer the physics lesson og my kids!tnx and godbless
Why we doubled the distance to get frequency in problem 6?
harmonic motion goes bothways, im sure im late to explain after 3years. if it goes one way, it will be called displacement
Please do sine wave (sinusoidal wave)
hay quá'
I'm not so sure about the node thing jut because my teacher doesn't count the "first" node
I love physics my friends find me weird lol
i also find u weird :)
@@rayvenne2643 well, i find u weird for finding her, assuming it's a her, weird and commenting on it after 2 years.
I find myself weird for finding u weird for finding her weird for commenting on her comment after 3 years and me commenting on ur comment after 3 weeks.
Weird.
u guys r weebs
How did you determine the wave length in problem 5
It was given in the problem
pls derive the formula :( u're manner is waaay easier to remember
