I just really wanna ask this question. Is the half-step tuning really necessary? I can't see any open strings being strummed though, and the chords used can just be transposed 😑
keep practicing. when playing barre chords the 3rd string is the hardest to play and not mute. and unfortunately that is the 3rd of a barre chord based off of the 6th string so it's an important note to be able to play. just keep at it and you'll get it.
Hmmmm could it be then this was kinda ripped off for Titanium? Cause with the sound you have it sounds more like Titanium then Every Breath you Take. So I thought owow they ripped the rith for Every Breath You take for Titanium.

not it's not necessary if you don't play any open notes. I'm showing you how Andy Summers plays it.
Da 'Police.
Genial ❤
Need long fingers for this one
yes, you do and I don't have them
One of their best songs
Yep 👍
The first note should ring throughout the chord that is being plucked note by note
A lot of the Police’s stuff was pretty hard to play.
Andy is a really cool guitar player.
Bravissimo!!! Complimenti!!!
Thanks 🤘😃🎸🎛️
I cant mute the 3rd string properly

What amp do u use
I know it’s a Neural DSP plug-in but I don’t remember which one. Probably the Rebea one.
of course me, My age old Flower. [ER]
Me short fingers have to improvise..😢
yeah, there's an easier way to play this. Not much easier but avoids the stretch.
The hard way
you're right it is harder the way Andy Summers plays it. I chose to show you the correct way it's played instead of some easy way to play it.
hmm wasn't the song much brighter and the muting not as sharp?
This isn’t the actual recording. So, yes the original recording does sound different because it’s a different recording.
Ese riff te rompe los dedos cuesta tocarlo por 1 minuto 😢
Yep
da pra gravar um vídeo de pelo menos 3 minutos
Three minutes for what?
andy summersかっ?😮
Yep 👍

Maybe. This is the biggest guitar riff of all time. It has been used in a lot of songs.
bar with your index and Use all fingers you don't have to do all that index switching
I think it's easier how I'm playing it but I hear what you're saying
@@GuitArmy sounds just like the record though I can't tell the difference. Good job man. I never thought to play it that way
Andy actually moved his index. The sustain and slight tone change on the record comes from a flanger and delay pedal.
@@vincentoconnor5640 thanks for your comment. I don't think I put any flanger on it. Next time.
