Whew, for a minute there, I thought they were going to get stuck in 1D space and all the plots would become all too...linear! :D My other comments probably got lost in the re-upload. Drat. -- Well, Ens. Chekov did not get stuck in Lt. Arex's body, even if three arms and legs might be, er, handy sometimes, and that one crewman didn't get stuck as a Vendorian, so I guess we are good. :D It was nice to see Chekov animate here, too. This was imaginative, and I hope the Strange New Worlds / Lower Decks crossover will be good when we finally get to see it. Nice story idea, although I would've liked to have seen a little more depth to the story. Even so, this was a neat idea, well done, and took a lot of creative effort to edit and produce.
Ooh, and we get Lt. Arex borrowed from the New Voyages / Phase II fan films there before the end. That was very cool to see too. I'd love to see more Edosians and Caitians in live action Trek and the animated shows.
Ha-ha! Well, it was meant to be fun, in the style of the original show. Yep, I borrowed from a slew of sources. But you kind of have to think back to when the original show didn't have the animated stories, of course. Just a fun romp in the original Trek world. Something I've always imagined since the animated show was aired. 😄 Glad you got a kick from it.

No the producers were too cheap. If Nimoy hadn't put his foot down Nichols and Takai wouldn't have been in it either. Koenig did write probably the worst episode with the intelligent plants and giant Spock clone tho!🤓😎🖖🏻😸
Poor Checkov is gonna need a lot of therapy.
😂😂😂
No ship's counsellor in ST:TOS, so poor Chekov would have to be sent to Tantalus.😲
@@chrismaguire3667 - 😆😆😆 Poor Chekov...
Or "wodka."

They went into Ludicrous Speed after Plaid Speed!😲

Mr. Chekov, you've been replaced. 😮

Konig couldn't be in the animated series for some reason of his own. So Arek (sp?) was put into it & the books.
