Hey bro your video are very educational... I'm very curious about all stetsom amplifier...if they can work perfect with 15.5 volts with out any damages ... Especially the stetsom hl 1200/4 2ohm.
I've got a QSC PL6 blowing IGBT's in a power supply. I changed them but with ALi Express ones (they are big square, chunky and bolt down). It worked after I fixed it, i listened to it for a few hours but next time I went to turn it on it was short again and tripping the house. To get a full set of genuine ones is super expensive I'm holding out for some used Genuine ones. I am also going to take a better look for old caps and other parts that may be causing issues. Wonder if the flyback circuit is bad. Probably just the fake IGBT's
Watsup bro love your videos . I started repairing car amplifiers and u helped me out alot man thanks a bunch . I have a 3500watts monoblock car amp that has blown power supply mosfets and driver ic but im not sure of the part number. The mosfets is labeled h1 and driver ic labeled c2 . Could u tell me the part numbers ?
For the QSC repair, you can buy the standby PSU transformer from Enigma Shop in the UK. It's called TSD-1135 and is £9. Also a good idea to replace TOP210PFI as well, because that's why the primary went o/c. Enigma sell those as well.
@@barevids If you get stuck fixing the QSC, let me know, I've done lots of those. Also, download the service manual for the PLX series, the PSU and output stages are identical to the PL2 series. To properly check the standby PSU is working you need a variac. If that string of 4148s, 10V zener, or the 39R2 resistor go wrong, the standby PSU will output too much voltage, killing the SG3525 and IR2110 which will lead to IGBTs both on at the same time and a huge bang, with expensive parts bill and possible rework of PCB tracks. Hit me back if you need any help.
Sam I'm curious have you heard of people having trouble with the DB apocalypse aak 6000.1D I have been running two and I've had to send 2 back so far? No smell just done. In protect.
Why u dont put some light bulb in series with amp, who protect amp rush current, or make from old amp like a power suply put thrue 50 Herts tone. Take out and put in minimal capacitor, for extra protection. I AM sure u have some old 8kw half bridge amp
That other mic around 1hour in is not bad once you get used to it. Less background noise, almost too clean. lol Bit less bass but crisp, you could lower the gain 10% and bring up the bass 10% see how that goes.
My problem is I have too much work lol, live streaming always makes things take four times as long so when I'm really crammed I don't stream that often

watch my sfb repair guide video all is explained
I was gonna buy the vibe powerbox 1500.1 but I’ve heard they blow randomly so I’m gonna go with the edge 1800.1 nstead

Is there a live tonight?
He dudes I have a question if anyone knows this ...cs43131 vs ma5332ms is this chip compatible?
B.t.w nice job
Hello bro, I have an amplifier with an output mosfet marked D1, what replacement could I use?
@@osoriotutoriales irfp4227
@@osoriotutoriales you gotta replace all on that side plus zeners 4148s and probably drivers
Ok Thank you, I appreciate your information.
Thin coating on the torroids.and main caps are cheap. Ive worked on many
You showed so many amps my statement ment nothing

Yeah theyre not great.
@@barevids wonderful lol
You need strong voltage..if b+ swings..its toast
@@davidstevens7809 2 feet from 80ah of lto never saw below 13.8 good strong alt also just a bummer.
