TM Krishna: Manodharma III - Part 3

In the third segment of the popular Manodharma series, TM Krishna discusses the concept of Kalpanaswarams in great detail. He goes on to address issues of mentally preparing oneself for a performance. And later, in answering a question, talks about the concept of shrutis.
Krishna was accompanied by Akkarai Subhalakshmi on violin, Arunprakash Krishnan on mridangam and Chandrasekara Sharma on ghatam. Tanpura support was provided by Krishna's student Vignesh Krishnamurthy.
This event was curated by First Edition Arts and produced in association the Experimenter Learning Program, Kolkata.

Its ridiculous to hit fixed pitch and do up amd down!!!!
My god ,this is confusing me!!!

Shashank Singh you and veena players do have that limitation let’s say, which esraj players like myself, singers, and violinists do not have. But when you play the murki SNRS in, say, tilak kamod, the essential identity of the phrase rotates around S, although you’ve pulled from N.
