That is a nice setup. I am looking to replace my drop bars on my Kona Rove ST for a more relaxed riding position for some light touring. I love the 1x.
Its nice with some backsweep. Actually the straight handlebar you often find on ordinary mtb is as catastrophe when it comes to ergonomics. The wrists do not like it at all. I have done almost the same thing with to old steel 26" mtb that I use för touring/gravel. Instead of getting a stem with high rise, I used a handlebar with both backsweep and rise. Thank for the vid! Greetings from Sweden.
yes, the bars and high rise stem made it feel like a totally different bike (in a good way). i took it out for a quick 14 miler on paved paths and some gravel - it performed great. it even handled a steep gravel climb very well. i was afraid the higher stem would cause the front wheel to want to buck up, but no - it was fine.
Hello, thanks for this detailed video. I'm very interested in this topic and love this bike. What size is the right one at 6.07 feet? Stay healthy and have a good trip.
believe it or not, i have not mounted the jones bars yet. haven't been riding my commuter (for obvious reasons), and riding the kona and my roubaix more. hopefully will dedicate some time to installing the jones bars soon. the origin 8 have been great!

looks like what i need on my new priority 600. 100% pavement, so what i want is short bar with bar end plugs that have rubber pads for heel of hands.

thanks! yes, the bike is a great family ride now that the stem and bars have been replaced. it even does OK in the snow - so you can enjoy in Sweden!
it s turning into a nice cruiser. Enjoy it.

Nice setup 👍 I’m looking to buy one n was wondering should I get the larger or the medium size ? I’m 5’10
i'm 5'9 and the medium is good for me. i have short legs though.
What size is your Kona Unit and how tall are you? Wondering about getting one and not sure about my fit....I am bang on 6ft tall. Thanks.
That's a medium, and i'm 5'9.
How wide the new handle bar?
Do you find these more comfortable than the Jones Bar? Trying to decide between the two. Thanks!
