I was going to give the camera to my girlfriend (now my wife), to use in her art class in college, but they told her that it was the wrong type of camera, so it wasn't sufficient. As for the sister, she didn't use it much because shortly after, most cell phones have cameras that are as good/better than these camcorders.

I think you could with the SR60, since it has the slot on top for a flash attachment.
