To me that is half the fun these days, and when I memorize the information, it makes me use my brain. Lord knows, I need to oil this machinery more than I used to. LOL You both have a great day tomorrow as well!!! 🤗🤗❤️🤗🤗

Very nice job on this figure. It is sad to think about the Civil War and family member fighting on opposite sides. It must have been really difficult. I have heard about quite a few stories of things that happened during the war. Brothers running into each other where one of them have let the other just kill him because the oldest didn’t want to kill his younger brother and so on. Because they didn’t really have a choise. They could decide to run and try to escape the war, but that could end bad if they got caught. The American Civil War was a really bad one in terms of who was fighting who. It wasn’t like it was another invading nation either. It was americans against americans. So sad…

I heard some of those stories too, and I just thought this was the most tragic/traumatic war ever. Yes, brothers fighting brothers. How can that NOT be traumatic? 🤭I just can't imagine. 🤗🤗❤️🤗🤗

@@UndergroundActionFigures America has a lot of very dark and sad history to it. When I was in high school my history teacher said that America was a somewhat unique nation, and that it was built on its own blood. The Civil War is one great example of that, but it began long before that war. It started when the first immigrants/settlers arrived (with the Mayflower ship) and started to build America. How could the intention of starting a new and better world go so horribly wrong… A student in my class back then made a joke that you couldn’t find one spot in America that wasn’t soaked in blood, but my teacher replied that his joke wasn’t actually all that far from being true. American soil have seen far too much bloodshed, and it even happens today, but just in a different way than in the past.
