I've owned a few chromebooks and the fanless ones have always been the my favorite for their batterylife and for being quiet. I'm gonna hold onto my Pixelbook Go a bit longer until this new Acer Spin 513 gets a discount.
I'm a student and I use the Acer Chromebook Spin 513 for everything from taking notes to writing essays to watching videos. It's the perfect laptop for my needs. It's lightweight and portable, with great robust mediatek processor.
Huh... you tempt me. However after using Lenovo Duet 3, I can't see myself using a laptop like the Spin 513. I hope Lenovo will upgrade Duet 3 with Kompanio 1380. I love that device. It is small enough to be an Android tablet (holding it for watching content for long is still manageable than a heavier laptop or tablet) and powerful enough to be a desktop PC when it is connected to an external keyboard and monitor.
When reviewing Chromebooks , I think that a few use cases should always be covered like: 1.- Note taking 2.- Drawing 3.- Book Reading 4.- Video Viewing and video streaming to TVs 5).- Audio listening quality 6).- Productivity Apps: spread sheets, document creation, presentation tools 7).- Video Conferencing 8).- Photography and image editing 9).- Video Editing 10).- Programming - Software Development: IDE + Programming Languages 11).- Connectivity with screen displays and other accessories. The above list will help to convince many end users to switch to Chromebooks ecosystem
The Kompanio 520 processor doesn’t just focus on the camera upgrades but it also ensures a stunning multimedia upgrade that lets you enjoy high-quality streaming videos.
I have been looking at this rig and there seems to be several configurations for it as the one I was checking out had the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7c processor with 128 GB and 8GB. Others had less powerful processors. How does the Qualcomm compare to the Kompanio? B.
Wow this look super bro, can it modulate or play computer related games? Also if you can please review the Honor MediaPad V7 Pro ensure ot is the one with 8GB RAM. You also have an option if you'd like either 128GB mmeory or 256GB storage 💯
Can't find this thing anywhere. Acer needs to get their crap together. It's a maze navigating through their endless amount of chromebooks. Jesus christ
Chromebooks are declining in sales big time and I am not sure it is the right time to be releasing new ones, especially ARM versions. As for these convertibles, ChromeOS is not ready to be used as a tablet yet and I would def avoid these if you really take digital art seriously. Get an Android or iPad, or Windows if you have to. I suspect it will be a few years before this design is worth investing in. Easy pass on this.
Not necessarily, more and more apps now are ran in the cloud and chrome books are perfect and much cheaper. My chrome book goes everywhere with me it’s small, it’s light it does everything I need And it’s much cheaper, so I don’t care too much about dropping it or it getting stolen compared to my much more expensive Windows laptop which is also much bigger. Having access to the App Store makes a huge difference on a chrome book, and it’s a much more practical device than an android tablet. Chrome books are more solid, and you have proper keyboards. I also like the chrome OS much more than I do windows, 11.
Mediatek sponsored this video? Tech Spurt's video on this is sponsored by Acer, which is worse. Does anyone want to give their honest, unsponsored opinion anymore, or all you all sellouts? I hope when you're looking for a dentist, Google reviews is chock full of sponsored and fake reviews and they go way too deep with the fillings and you lose a tooth or something. When you give an opinion on something like this, most people will assume it's some sort of review. I hope your health is directly proportional to your integrity.

Awesome video. I like all the chromebook options and price points.
Mediatek's Kompanio chipset series has truly enhanced the Chromebook experience.
Exactly
@@buttcube6085 You actually do have a point those are also quite powerful
@@buttcube6085 do remember this is meant to be cheaper than a macbook so they can't use excellent processors like that but this is good enough
I'm trying to understand if it supports 4k video editing via kinemaster or powerdirector or lumafusion or shotcut

Great one by Acer with an impressive convertible and touch display and most importantly the powerful performance given by mediatek kompanio chipset
Oh wow, this chromebook is nice.
Not sure when Chromebook updates ends for this model. That can be a frustrating realization when you get that notice
I wish more channels would talk about the linux performance when it comes to chromebooks
Is it good or bad?
@@Possibly04 It depends on the specs of course, I believe that ARM or x86 makes a difference as well.
Mtk inside?!
I like this
But is it good for use at coffee shops?
No, it hasn't got a back camera. Yak Yak.
Decent processing with the kompanio SoC and graphics power for an ARM-architecture Chromebook
I bought this laptop and its the best ever laptop I have ever seen
