Thanks for the comment. I still like running my older models and fixing them when required. There are bargains out there. Cheers Paul.

Many words of wisdom spoken Paul. I only buy old triang/Hornby/Lima/Mainline etc. these days, basically because they are affordable, although as we all know even these have rocketed and also because I love the process of maintaining and using these little vintage items of wonderment. So for me your videos are bang on the nail 👍 looking forward to your next production of " Bedstead Junc. "
    Kind regards John

Hi Paul another loco I keep meaning to buy, I think the Mainline model is definitely the better looking model but I prefer the Lima motors. Cheers Rick

Great video Paul. Keep up the good work. I think that those coaches of yours are Hornby Colletts. Fleishmann also made both green & blue versions of the BR Warship. The bodies are diecast moulded & super-detailed & so built to last forever. They were made in the HO 1/87 scale which makes them a little bit smaller than similar OO models but to be honest, that is not a big issue on the track. The mechanism inside them is first class with flywheels, making them very smooth runners indeed. From time to time one sees one come up on ebay for around the £50 mark. They are all fitted with Triang Hornby type tension lock couplings. They are easy to access to clean & service & a really good quality piece of kit to both run or display.

Sorry I missed your comments. I will look out for the fleischmann ones. They sound like good models. Cheers Paul.

Barrie Davis raves about the Hornby Railroad Warship on his channel so it’s good to see you echo his comments. Is it the camera angle or is one shorter than the other? I can see a difference in the grilles along the side. Very useful video though, thank you.

I have been thinking about getting the Hornby Railroad version. Yes there's a difference in the grilles. It's the camera angle giving the impression of a difference in length. Regards Paul.
