The Maldives sun is a beast! I (Nicolas) normally never get a sun burn, but every time we're in The Maldives it happens! I think it's because you're so close to the equator!
As room service charges extra, could you take food to your villa so you don't waste time away? 😅

Nights on-season starting at 3500$ a night. Slide adds 500$ a day. Just so you know. So each night you sleep there you loose around 1600$ doing nothing. That's one good video rendering GPU each night.

Where are you guys from?
About how deep was the water at the end of the water slide? Like did it go over your heads? Reach your shoulder? Your waist?
The water is actually only waist deep in the lagoon, but at the end of each water slide they made a large hole where the water is much deeper so you hurt yourself! Don't know how deep it is exactly but deep enough that you can slide down every single moment of the day! :-D

how would you compare soneva jani or fushi to gili lankanfushi? i know you guys have been to both. which would you consider to be the best
I'd rank them as Fushi < Gili Lankanfushi < Jani. Jani is Gili Lankanfushi but on steroids. Everything just a little bit better (but you also pay the price for it).

Thanks! The villa we were in automatically comes with Soneva Unlimited, which is includes return seaplane transfers, unlimited food & beverage, unlimited spa treatments and experiences (including diving) and it’s around $6000 per night!
