People hating, it’s just a fun album. Lots of great vocals and weirdly catchy songs. A lot of these songs shouldn’t work, but they do. I really liked it, very unique album. At least he’s experimenting and not just following the same wave as everyone else.

i like this album SOOOO much. It really finds a way to border between annoying and charming and just vibes. Teezo lyrically DELIVERS SO MUCH and the storytelling and bars are so refreshing. Sweet is a great example where Teezo is just so overly charming and colorful that even Foushee cant match his energy. I really cant find a single track i hate

The schemes on You Thought, the way he sets the atmosphere on Nu Nay with that "cup" scheme, "where will you hide the body of life standing in your way", my fav track Neighbor hood has god tier strorytelling constantly speaking in metaphors and is gutwrenching when u pay attention to the story. He also tackles in a unique perspective of someone just trying to find peace n mind his business. As a theme for the album i think Teezo was holding back on some parts just to get that camp vibe but secretly this album has some strokes of genius just buried in all the campiness.

Not every bar has to be laced with heavy meaning and entendres especially when your trying to create something light and breezy while still being artistic. Its just his choice of palette and i get why some might not like it.
I found teezo back in 2020 and all I could think was this guys got it. Been watching him get to this point has been so satisfying. He had literally like 1k something plays on his tracks at that point, to see that growth has felt so sweet

In the last verse he’s talking about rockstars being too old, Teezo is almost 31, so it’s like he’s talking about what doubters have said to him. Neighborhoods’ 3 verses are from 3 different perspectives. That’s cool. On Nu Nay he says “it’s not on sight, it’s all on sights” that’s very clever wordplay for a phrase everyone says. You’d think a rapper would’ve said that before but no one has. The list goes on

I personally adore teezo and all the kinda goofy, fun, creative stuff he does. I love the way it sounds and it seems to me that he is being authentically himself and just enjoying it! It's not going to be everybody's thing and that's ok.
I'm glad Fantano gets it. The album isn't basic it's just really catchy fun pop tunes that combines rap, rock, r&b , punk and funk and what people are interpreting as bad lyricism I think is more like camp and intentional zany humor. Teezo takes so many risks on the album I honestly don't get how this is being called basic. One of the best albums this year, Teezo deserves the Yellow Flannel.
this album is just so fun, and unique with production inspired by a huge variety of genres, all of which Teezo seems to have a major amount of respect for, I think the story telling is great and the writing at times is a little over the top, it's clever and at times rather funny. It may not be the "best" album of the year, but honestly its my favorite, glad I found Teezo via Yachty (probably my previous favorite album this year) really looking forward to where Teezo's career goes
That campy, pop punk vocal aesthetic is very hit or miss for lots of songs here. Intro was a miss but Impossible + Neighborhood great tunes with songwriting related to his upbringing.
