    This is awesome! I work with the company that makes these and we sell them on our website. They add the top clips to attach accessory bags. The Luggage Works accessory bags have the top clips for hooking onto the roller bags. FYI the Maverick bag is named after our managers doggo 🙂

      That is so cute that the bag is named after maverick the dog. Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work, flight crews love these bags!

    I bought a lightweight cheap carry-on bag for USD $20. The zip broke the first time I used it, a useless waste of money. I bought a second Carry-On case on sale for USD $99. That was half its usual price of USD $199. It weighs 2.8 kg, so it can carry 4.2 kg of contents. I would not be without my electronic "Travel Scales" that clip around the handIe. I constantly repack, removing weight to avoid issues the check-in. Without these scales I would have to weight myself without the baggage, then again baggage in hand, and subtract my weight from the combined total. I can't see the scales 'cause I'm too fat. I need 4 wheels due to my back injuries. The USD $500 for the Maverick plus delivery to Thailand, Um is quality at a price. Very smart bag, If I bought a peaked cap, Way To Fly (WTF) 👨‍✈️

    Luggage Works bags are absolutely fantastic and worth every penny. You can send them in for a rebuild as well as get many of the parts for yourself if you want. I have been using them for decades as an airline pilot. I have only seen one Maverick in person but it looks great. I have the largest Stealth and the 22 inch Executive, both are very good

    Weight! How heavy is the empty bag? Maximum Carry-On baggage weight full is 7kg on many airlines. One channel stated 6.5 kg or 14.5 lb empty and that would make it unusable. It sounds wrong to me. You measured the case length at 22" which exceeds Scoot airlines maximum length of 54cm or 21.25". Your measurement did not appear to include the handles, that exceed the case length by a few inches even when collapsed. Some airline staff can be very officious. On one flight I paid for 10kg of Carry-On, but the rule is no case over 7kg, so I had to take some items out and put them in a small second bag. I need a second small bag for emergency medication, reading glasses, pen, ear pods, wallet, passport, boarding pass, vaccination records, and mobile phone. All needed in my seat, not an overhead locker.

    Nice review. It looks like the handle is much wider on the Maverick, versus a standard issued crew bag. Can you tell me what the outer measurements of the handle are (the retractable bars)? Thank you.

      4 wheels is absolute trash

    • @alexmoreland7938
      @alexmoreland7938 10 месяцев назад

      4-wheels is worthless to a professional pilot that lugs this around with a flight bag/backpack hanging off the j-hook

      4 wheel luggage tends to be very cheaply made. I know because I travel the world as an airline pilot.

    What made you pick this Vs the stealth 22” seems ultra similar

    • @justadadtips
      @justadadtips  Год назад +2

      it was newer so I figured it must be better, We gave it to our son and everyone keeps asking him if he is a pilot when he flies. He wishes it had 4 wheels, and looked a little nicer,

      I am also a pilot, but when I travel outside work, I carry a Rimowa. I love the Stealth and Stealth Premier, but it is overkill for anyone flying less than 1000 hours a year.@@justadadtips

      It’s too heavy, it’s made for pilots cos they don’t have the weight restrictions of passengers. Unless your son is flying every weekend like a commercial pilot, this is bag is way too heavy and over kill for a student.

    Pilots handle their own bags. They don't see the abuse our bags see.

    • @twister4489

      Yeah and we use the crap out of them. A normal piece of luggage would be destroyed in 3 months at most.
