Destiny, when you (or your editor) post your videos, could you put a link to which game you're playing?
A link to the steam store page or whatever? Even if it's an affiliate link.
Not from an outraged perspective, of wanting you to credit the creators. More because I often see you're playing fun games and I'm never able to track them down to try it for myself.

What about choice? This guy's position assumes harm to be the test of entitlement, which is nonsense. If I don't like the guy and enjoy acting spitefully I'm free to do so. If I don't want to be associated with him, if I see a potential for harm I want to avoid, if I'm an asshole or an idiot or have any reason I chose or chose not to disclose, it's my property.

The Hasan getting up while playing videos for stream thing is just so absurd by how simple it is to "solve." Literally just pause the video and throw up a "brb" graphic if you need to, like every other streamer I've seen does. Yet he constantly acts like people criticizing him are telling him to stay glued to his streaming chair all day and just die if necessary. Yet he's the only streamer I've ever seen do this behaviour, and I've seen other streamers have genuine emergencies and handle it better than him who's just cooking in the other room (though I guess to be fair, those other streamers aren't doing anything as lazy as just watching other people's content and streaming that).

Like fucking hell dude, even those pages that just steal memes from Reddit at least can say they're "curating" by only sharing them if they're funny.
So much defense from the react thieves presumes that they're just entitled to be able to stream 10+ hours of good content that they didn't make every day. They think it's unthinkably unfair that they should possibly have to just not stream for some amount of time so they can even just prepare what videos to show, or what they want to say in response, or even that they can just turn off the stream for a while so they can take a shit and walk the dog or get some food. The idea that they could spend just a small part of their day not monetised doesn't even occur to them.

The reason why lazy react content is bad is because if it keeps being profitable with zero risk whatsoever, it incentivizes react content over creating original content in the first place. We should be incentivizing and supporting the original content as much as possible, yet people prefer to watch the version of that same video with a square facecam in the top left and financially support that instead. The way that the react meta works is that there can only be so many reactors at one time, because if everyone would become a react andy, there would be no content to react to. Idk I just wish we had a way to pull people out of bad ideas or habits that was more gentle and actually conducive to growth.
