UKMLA & PLAB will almost be similar in procedures . So if at all UKMLA comes into existence u dont need to panic. Except for visa , every procedure after gmc registration is same for immigrants .

You just mentioned I need to finish my internship before sitting my plab test, really confused, should I cancel my test date or is it going to be okay?
You can give your PLAB exam during internship.. some universities give the students PMQ pre finishing internship. Mine didn’t. So if you are able to book PLAB exam then that means your paper work is on point and GMC allowed you to book the exam. Hope that makes sense.

It’s single best answer kind of questions. When I appeared for it I had an OMR sheet. I’m unsure if due to pandemic it’s been changed to computer based exam. But it’s not an exam where you write down answers. If that’s what you were asking about.

It’s subjective in everyone’s case. No two cases are the same. Depends on so many factors - when you give the exam, when you get GMC, how your interviews go, where you finally accept the job etc etc. Can’t put a number on it.

Well, if you don’t do higher training in the U.K. you can continue working as a middle grade too. But if you finish higher training then you become a consultant. Nothing in life is compulsory. And yes, if you add up the years of super speciality training in India with your Indian pg it more or less adds upto the same.

You can not book the exam without completing MBBS.

There are some colleges that allow you to get provisional registration if that’s the case at your end then it should work.
