Medium: outlined with a 6h clutch pencil, black pastel pencil, mono zero tombow eraser, brush to blend pastel with, electric eraser, black polychromos pencil and a hb lead 0.3 mechanical pencil.
All done on Daler Rowney heavyweight paper.

Marie, do you recall how long this drawing took to complete?
I have done much drawing in, oh over 30 years, but lately I’ve been watching a lot of RUclips videos, and now I hooked again. I draw simply because it my way of making a lil time for myself and just relax. However, I’ve discovered that my drawings have improved quite a bit after watching some of videos and others. I like my pictures better the more realistic they are, but that requires a lot of practice, patience and time.
So, thanks for sharing your work with us because I’m pretty sure someone might want to achieve the results shown in your drawing and simply overlook the fact even with talent and skill this is easy.

Thanks to ya I was able to do braids for the first time and they came out really good! I love your videos. They are real easy to follow I learn by sight and doing. I always say "push yourself and see how far you can go"

Just use pencil to lay down on paper, blend it I. Then use an eraser to create lines. Then add more detail with pencil
