My father played piano, I studied piano to grade 4 of the Royal Academy of Music entry level.
My late husband was a highly respected DJ with a massive knowledge if Jazz. Hence my love of Miles (before he went nuts) especially with Gil Evans. I saw Miles Twice in concert. You couldn't hear a penny drop.
I find a redemptive power in music
and played Miles Kind of Blue album, still unable to understand the music written down would have fitted on a napkin. Miles and Evans studied
Scored of Ravel and Rachmaninov.
But I expect you know that.
