For those who discovered the Ace Attorney Investigation games from the 2024 Collection release, this series was recorded before there was ever an official translation, and was the result of a fan translation project. As such, many of the names and dialogue will differ slightly from the now official release. Please however continue to enjoy the series!
It's time! We know a lot of you guys have been waiting for this day, as a lot of you seem to love Investigations 2! A new game, new cases, new characters, a new gameplay mechanic, and a new chapter in the Ace Attorney series. Let's do this! :D
Also yes, since an official English version doesn't really exist for Ace Attorney Investigations 2, I did do my best to take the "2" from the official Japanese AAI2 logo and transplant it to the original logo to make an English version. I think it turned out pretty well! :D

Investigations 2 is claimed as the best game of the franchise. I genuenily believe Trials and Tribulations and Spirit of Justice are better games in general, but I2 is huge step up from I1, and the first clue of that is the Logic Chess. And just as curiosity, this case takes place just 10 days after the battle with Quercus Alba. Talk about a busy life, Edgy-Boy.
Clearly the Great Attourney games are the best games in series ;D

@@stardust7780 DGS2 kinda recontextualizes a lot of what happens in the first game (being that they're a duology) but I agree, the first case kinda drags arbitrarily and Case 2 kinda started cliched and really is the reason I have trust issues with Capcom. Case 3 just slaps
No cause the characters in AAI2??? Sooo many of them slap so hard like… Courtney, Sebastian, John, Knightley, Raymond, Sirhen, Simon??
Even Blaise and Patricia whom you love to hate
Personally it’s Dgs2, T&T, this game, then SoJ for me but they are all pretty close and very amazing

“Trying not to sound like Lotta.” And “Lotta hart hasn’t shown up in ages”....A few cases later, Lotta shows up.
Just a heads up. You are playing a beta build, which still has some translation bugs. Shouldn't impact the game too much, but might want to switch to the final build before you get too far into the game if you want to avoid them. Most emulators and "backup-carts" have some way to switch game builds while keeping your savegame.

Just to give you a heads up, and don’t think of this as a spoiler, there are five cases in this game, and two of those logic chess puzzles per case. And they definitely get more difficult, so keep your guard up.
Oh and, I think you guys may have already figured out who Nicole’s mentor is.

Maybe its just me. But T&T would've been better if Phoenix and Iris actually got back together
Erit Resistentia Trials and Tribulations is good as hell but I still like Investigations 2 more
Didn't even watch the last case in AAI1 but when I saw the finale posted, I thought to myself, watch out for this. :)
Also, you're playing the wrong translation.
I played this version AND watched someone else play the full build and they were both practically the same
If you ever get tothat point, then please make a video tutorial on how to download/emulate the great ace attorney, because i love playing Ace Attorney while watching your videos/together with you.

You know, I feel like at this point they may need to use people profiles, symbols, or something for the text boxes, at the very least they should be color coded to help distinguish who's talking.
