I recently purchased this product and wondering if I have to buy a charger to charge the batteries or if I can buy the AC cable and charge the batteries while the pannel is connected to my AC power
I cannot control it using the remote control and it shows "disconnected" on the app. How can I "enable" the remote functionality on the light itself? The correct channels have been selected in both the remote and light, but nothing happens.
Those of you asking how to mount this on your DSLR... You simply DON'T! You'll risk damaging your DSLR hotshoe, believe me it won't hold even for few minutes. This thing is tad big and heavy especially with an NP F960 and is not designed for camera mount. It even looks over-sized weird and awful on you small DSLR rig. For DSLR and camcorder mounts use the smaller YN300, YN216 or YN160 with proper hotshoe swivel mount.
Great job in the video. Very thorough job describing and showing the product. I'm very interested in getting both the 600 and 900 the 900 even more after watching this video and seeing I can also control the lights from an app on my phone that was amazing. very happy to see led prices coming down so more of us can afford more professional look
Cool info. Is the YN1200 better and strongest than the YN900?... can find the info and the YN1200 looks smaller. Thanx!
Does 5500k light look significantly different than 5600k light?
