Hello Kenji, would you consider making a video on how to properly approach the path to learning about Finance topics? Currently, I'm in my second year studying International Business Administration at university. Although I'm able to understand and learn all the concepts presented so far well (i.e., the basics, such as CAPM, DCF, bond valuing, etc.), I want to explore this branch of business more in-depth by my own initiative as well. However, I always feel uncertain about whether or not the concepts I read and learn about are the "right" topics to learn about. Some of the matter presented feels somewhat disorganized and I often have trouble figuring out whether I am being taught the right and "complete" knowledge on the topics presented. I would really be interested to see how you have or would approach learning specific topics within Finance/Accounting (e.g., how would you judge the educational merits of Finance textbooks, information, courses, etc. and how would you set out a plan to master the most important concepts in chronological order/order of importance?)! Hey Lennart, thanks for your comment. It’s unlikely I’ll make a video on that it’s just not a very clickable type of video to be honest. When it comes to free stuff I agree that it’s tricky to find content with a good sequence…but if you’re willing to pay I’d argue there’s plenty of good stuff out there. In my case, I’ve just learned based on what I enjoy learning about..it’s that simple. If I’m interested in a branch of business I’ll read online, then buy a book or course. If I don’t understand something I stop and look it up online. Then, after every important lesson I write it down in a word doc so I can always search for it again. Anyways, thank you for the advice nevertheless, it is somewhat similar to my current approach anyways, and most importantly, it tells me that it is entirely possible to gain the practical knowledge and skills following such an approach (case in point being you haha). For now, I am planning to reread and work by myself on the books we've covered in class thus far, as we usually do not cover the entirety of the book and skimp over some concepts I do know for a fact are fairly useful. Keep making the great content as you've done so far, very informative allround and most knowledge greatly compliments the contents of my studies! Regards, Lennart
