For example you can have a random process with the mean value of one and a standard deviation of 0.5. Each value it generates every step is random, but you can have a good estimate of probability of what range of value it generates.

I wonder about risk management how much did they risk when entering a trade

didn't know they started off by using mean reversion, interesting
Yeah, at that time, it was pretty new.
@@Finaius Mean reversion still works by the way...
@@govou3000 Considering our environment, I believe mean aversion occurs with a higher probability
Mean reversion is the shit
@@rujotheone What you mean aversion occurs with a higher probability?

Isn't Rentech a highly secretive firm? Brilliant video.
I got the best strategies to win trades with the help of the best trade analyst, I have won 8 of my 9 trades recently with his help with a profit of $7900 in just a week. [Mastershack D O T net]
There's another one that is as good as them and even more secretive - TGS Management.
Medallion is the most secretive fund in history. Even their employees became 9 figure winnners

The Oswald Veblen Prize in Geometry is *not* the most prestigious prize in math. That would be the Fields Medal.
great content! keep up the good work
Great video, I'm looking forward to checking out your other content.
Amazing videos my friend. Truly enjoying knowing more about these financial personas
Could you please explain the reason why random processes aren’t actually random? You skipped over the stochastic part very quickly and I didn’t understand. Thanks and good video.
They are random. But it doesn't mean unpredictable. You can still model them and have some idea what the mean value is over the long run.
For example you can have a random process with the mean value of one and a standard deviation of 0.5. Each value it generates every step is random, but you can have a good estimate of probability of what range of value it generates.

Coin flips are random. But over large sets they will revert to 50/50.
Great Video. Love hearing about the legend.
Thank you-very well done.
*Thank you* too!
