Benalmadena offers many surprises. I'll be filming more, so please subscribe to ensure you get to see them.
When you visit the grotto look up to the left at the unusual structures. You can see few at the start of this video. They appear to be follies, but they have a purpose. They are used to present nativity and Easter stories. Scaffold seating is erected on the righthand side and the audience watch the stories acted out.
