Out of all the books I’ve wanted to read, this one is going to be the one I make time for. Will Self, is basically brilliant. I remember that staring competition where he crushed that MP on the news. The bit where the MP was so frustrated he gently lifted his paper cup and put it down again 😂😂
Will Self is a best journalist and a author. I totally agree with Will about about heavily medicating people minor mind health problems. Is it any wonder why more and more people are turning AWAY FROM MODERN MEDICINES and turning to ALTERNATIVE medical treatment like homeopathy,herbal, Chinese herbal ,Ayurvedic.
Writing about junk, I find, is much more engaging when its simply documented observation. I found Burroughs flight of imagination insufferable, but when he writes a sentence along the lines of "A junk addict can stare at the tip of his brown brogue shoe for eight hours straight. The junkie needs no external stimulation as long as the junks in his system" I think he's great.
@@oldgit4260 yep he's charismatic but an awful author I have read two of his books and they are pretentious in a way only someone who is backed by wealth can muster
