I love the song but hate that I really don't have access to "broadway" shows, especially with some of the original casts. From Wicked to Book of Mormon, I'd love to be able to see the shows and the actors but it's not possible. I wish that the show producers would create high quality videos of the shows to allow those of us who can't travel to see them live to at least be able to view them on screen. For example, the show Wicked did release a few high quality videos of select scenes/songs but to see the entire show I have to settle for a low quality cellphone video taken by an audience member.
It is a thrill to see these shows live . Hope you can see them in good quality video in the future. Take care and thanks for watching!

This is fantastic, but I'm curious why you made the decision to cut the line "Do I kill the monster?" Is it because of suicidal implications? Just wandering.
I was wondering the same thing. The single on iTunes is marked as explicit, but it is missing the line as well. Maybe it’s because of “Is everyone in danger as long as I’m alive?”
its also just spoken instead of sung, so she might have just cut out the speaking bits.

I asked the same thing. It is a very important line to this song imo. Letting us see her suicidal ideations really brings the character to life, coming from a survivor.
It surprised me too. The suicidal ideation is still clearly present, but it's true that that line is the most explicit one. Maybe it's because the word "kill" is too strong?
OH. MY. GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is BY FAR my FAVORITE “Monster” cover ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your voice is SOOOO BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!! It’s so clear and powerful!!!! (You sounded just like Caissie Levy too!! 😊😊😊) It was absolutely BREATHTAKING!!!!!!!! And, that final note at the end!!!!!!!! CHILLS!!!!!!!!! (Pun intended!!!! 🤣🤣) I mean, I seriously can’t even begin to tell you how awesome that note was!!!!! I love this song. I'm so angry it's not as popular as the original ones from the film. I found the original Broadway record on RUclips and it was the reason I had to see the musical. Luckily I booked a vacation in NYC just a few months before (I'm from Europe so I knew it would possibly be the only chance in my life to see a Broadway show) and I didn't regret a second. I almost cried several times and the show and the actors were amazing.
