Nice to see Mount St John Freestyle again, what a nice pair! Congratulations!
Stunning . Gorgeous elegant mare ridden so beautifully by Catherine
It’s nice to see a horse that is not behind the vertical and light in the hand ,to me this horse looks happy and well cared for , many dressage horses are overweight, people may poo poo this girl but I like the horses way of going and they will get a lot better as they become a solid team ,early days yet
I honestly don't think people poo poo this rider. She is known as one of the best in the world 🤩
Absolutely beautiful and amazing
OMG THIS IS THE BEST PREFORMENCE I HAVE SEEN IN A YEAR
Really? A horse that can’t even stand still?
@@nicitanic Audience went nuts on the joker line, what do you expect a horse to do really??
Saw this live over the summer -yes there(!) -- phenomenal experience
Beautiful ❤️ what an amazing rider and mare
This mare has alwafs looked wonderfully relaxed in most paces but appeared to struggle a little with the piaffe. I do like her. She had been beautifully produced by Charlotte regardless of any negative comments ciculating about her.
That's magnificent ❤❤❤❤
Wonderful, a dream ❤
Flawless
Well done to Denmarks duo... The horse Mount St John used to be ridden by the British Olympian Charlotte Du Jardin , I think she produced him too ...
Yes, she did, but Freestyle is a mare 😉
Jeez at 4:17 she is…wow!❤
👏👏👏
Flot flot ridt Cathrine man bliver stolt over den flotte og følsomme måde,du fremviser hende på❤
😃👌🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
The horse didn't stay still at the halt. Her hands were not quiet.
Her hands were not quiet??? Did we see the same performance? Might aswell cut off our hands if thats already not quiet hands 🤣 We need them to aid sometimes, or do you not ride? Weird.
This sometimes happens when people are clapping or beginning to clap in the middle/end of a test to the music. The horse knows the song at this point because of rehearsals done at home, so a noise like clapping that is unfamiliar, coming all around you from echoing can sometimes make them nervous & sometime set them off. In an outdoor show clapping is less noticeable because the audience is farther away from the horses and there is no echo. The horse stopped the first time, so it was clear that it's environment and not the rider. The audience is actually supposed to wait until the test is over to clap for the rider but not everyone listens so FEI judges are a bit more lenient about that in freestyles with large audiences.
Stuff the halt ! The way of going is fantastic . Classical
Beautiful test but I think she would've done a bit better if she had another set of canter pirouettes that were not tied in with the piaffe pirouettes. Feels like they marked the combination of them together rather than individually which is fine because it's a combination but I think Freestyle has better pirouettes then the mark gave for them strictly because it was tied with the combination.
Those spurs are HUGE, Why??
Right? 😞 I used to be impressed by this sport.. however, now I've seen the things that can't be unseen
And she’s JABBING them into the horse. Horrible.
@@gomist2018 She's not jabbing she's aiding bruh, jesus everyone so sensitive nowadays wtf 😂
The dressage saddle when you sit in it pushes your legs out more then jump saddles because of its design to cocoon your butt and thighs, so the reason for long spurs is so the leg muscles don't have to come off the saddle to communicate with the horse, and considering how dressage horses have a bunch of different cue points for different things across their side, less upper leg movement gives better aids.
@@Cha-n6q Rubbish. You don’t know FA about horses. I’ve ridden with spurs, have you?
du er så sej og jeg elsker cassidy
Uf...
I wonder if they are now also manipulating the horses ears - they are held in the very same position (semi forward with the left ear lower than the right ear) the entire time, which is very unnatural. An attentive but relaxed and happy horse will move its ears frequently, while paying attention to both the rider and the surroundings. This is something i noticed with other dressage riders too - horse ears seem to be more forward nowadays than the previous sidewards/downwards position that is considered a sign of stress and pain, but stiff and immobile. Hmm ...
hi FEI channel, I am Sophie and my dream is to come here and do a show jumping and dressage World Cup in England with you guys, but that is very far away as I am only 13 and don't have a horse yet, but my trainer says that I am ready for the jumping World Cup as I can jump 1.85, hope to see y'all in a few years!!!😁
You are not ready for a World Cup. You may be able to stay on a horse over a single 1.85 m fence, but you certainly do not have the experience and knowledge to ride a horse around a full course together with a jump off. Get rid of your trainer and find someone who does not tell you fanciful lies to make you feel good. If you are a decent rider you MAY be able to find someone who will lend you a horse to do beginner classes on. Good luck.
There will NEVER be a jumping course with the height set at 1m 85 are you fr ... What on earth is your trainer telling you, and why would you be jumping at 1.85?
@@Phillip-p1e they are 13, why are you talking to them like this...
@@Roheryn100 Wow, you've got a pretty nasty attitude to be talking to a 13 year old like this
David or Sophie, what's it to be make up your mind... Imo your comment was entirely made up...
This is so sad!!
Freestyle looks so thin! Terrible!Theres barely any muscling over the back behind the saddle. Nothing elegant about this!
Freestyles expression looks very scared and in pain!
There’s no excuse for a top dressage horse to be in this poor condition!
I really hope you grow a pair of eyes. This is not what a horse remotely in pain looks like. And she went from Charlotte, a known horse abuser, to Catherine, who trains her horses so well they are still happy and healthy into their old age.
@@dactylichexaphoebster-vx5nv the horse’s natural biomechanics were so correct and beautiful under Charlotte and that’s what makes dressage look so beautiful and effortless, that’s one of Charlottes gifts! Freestyle found dressage easy then!
Here Freestyle looks tense, unhappy and forced. She doesn’t look as athletic and fluid because she’s behind Cathrine’s leg, core, and seat!
Was that why Freestyles tail looked like propellar under Charlotte? @@JenniferArmbrechtKindAStables
@@derruffian5150 Freestyle’s tail was never comprised under Charlotte!
Cathrine is using a tail extension to try and keep tail swishing at bay.
@@JenniferArmbrechtKindAStables Geeeeez...tense, unhapppy??? get some glasses pls.
